amberlea (730.6 days ago) Well my hubby did ok I guess... I did get a great gift but it was a week ago. He got me a camera for like 130$ and gave it to me Monday. I was super excited and thankful of course. But come Valentines day, he acted like he didnt even know! Not even a card or any special attention, he acted like any other day. Oh yea, and when I tried to give him his card he told me to wait so we could exchange. Well we never exchanged and when we went to bed I brought it up, he said I never gave him the card. So I went to bed and when I woke up my super sweet card (that took me a looong time to pick) was opened and he never said a word about it. Well he left for work and when he called I finally said `oh I see you opened your card` and all he said was `yea I got up and opened it last night`. WTF thats all he said, no thank you or thats sweet?? Plus I never got the `exchange` part either!
Dezzi (731.6 days ago) BEWARE...venting...You are all lucky you got something :P I doubt my hubby even remembers. We don`t really celebrate, since its a commercial holiday...but even a `Happy Valentines day` would have been nice. We got into an arguement this morning instead. It has been a super crappy morning. I`ve had it with his unresponsiveness. I ask for help, companionship, romance etc, and when I give up (like this morning), I`m told I`m manipulave. I miss feeling close to my hubby, and I would tell him this if I knew he would listen. Tomorrow is another day, and it will be better...thanks for listening :)
happymommee2kj (731.6 days ago) We were walking through the candy isle at walmart and he grabbed a pack of hershey kisses and handed them to me and said here is your v-day gift. lol He never was the romantic type. Haha
military~mommy (731.6 days ago) He started well, I told him a month ago to keep it small. All I go thim was a wallet. He got me lilies, chocolates, a spa package, and a gift card to the book store. A really good start right? well then he spent 6 hours dicking around with his xbox 360, on the computer about his xbox, playing with his xbox, running to the store to get something for his stupid xbox, and I have been feelign like crap all day and he left me alone to take care of our sick daughter while he was doing all this crap. Right now, he is playing xbox. The piece of crap may experience an accident soon. Say, PBnJ stuffed in it? just enough to ruin the game playing option... We get our cable through the dang thing too.
marli (731.8 days ago) My hubs was watching Wonder Pets with our oldest son (it was a Valentines episode). That`s how he remembered, haha. We usually just go out to dinner but this year we`re staying in and he`s cooking a nice meal for the boys and I. My oldest, Gavin, and I made red velvet cupcakes too. =)
3girls2008 (731.8 days ago) ok my hubby is usually pretty good with things like this but this year not so much. I`m used to Vday being messed up since he is a general manager of a restaurant but this year he was asked to do a huge thing over the whole weekend. Knowing how bummed i was I was hoping he would do a little extra but nope went in the opposite direction! Flowers from the grocery store....and thats it. He`s known for weeks he had to do this thing and I spent weeks trying to figure out a cool gift to get him. He came home late last night and after he opened his gift even said `oh i should have done more` but left it at that... i know it sounds silly but for me this vday is crap-o-la!!
