My SIL just got pg from it. The first cycle with it. There was a chance for twins, but she has just one growing.

Hi there. My OB/Gyn gave me Femara to ttc. We were trying for four years. I used it for 6 periods and then gave up hope. Tereafter I did concieve. Don`t know if the pills actually worked or not b/c I was not using it in that specific cycle and the dr. thought it was a miracle that i got pregnant. Yes, the pill is used for breast cancer conditions, but I had no side effects or anything from using it. I think it is safe to use, just very expensive and our medical insurance didn`t cover it. The odds of having more than one egg released? Well, I only had one baby. Good luck and I hope your cousin will be pregnant soon. ;-)
