never! Ever! discount a faint line... that is a positive, retest in a week and if the same result wait another week, if you dont have a period you may not have enough hcg hormone to register on those hpt tests so get to a doc and ask for a quantative blood test, it give your doc a number and if there is a number then you have something going on, they will want to retest in a few days and if that number increases your are preggers (congrats if you are) if that number goes down then it is not a viable pregnancy and you will get your period eventually, if there is no number at all then your not pregnant. I have been through a lot of this faint line stuff and i was almost 3 months pregnant before i knew with my second all because i didnt think what i was seeing was positive.

the thing is the + isnt complete its like a T instead of a + and even the T isnt complete the - is solid but the line down is just like a few dots...does that make sense at all??

Me too.. faint line.. thought it was a faulty test but I was only just pregnant. Have you taken a second test yet? Would this be happy news?

LOL....hehehe! I had a test like that once and I actually was pg with my third. As long as the positive line appears, it doesn`t matter about the other line. Turn the test the same way as it is on the box to determine the correct lines....hope this makes sense!!
