I have taken it the past 3 nights and I think it is helping and helping me relax to fall asleep at a descent time instead of laying there thinking oh Paityn will be up soon why go to sleep now! aleksandra (713.8 days ago) Valerian root is for reducing stress and relaxing the body for peaceful nights rest. It should not be used while pregnant, nor if you are breastfeeding.
I would recommend using Melissa instead if you are looking for a relaxed but not drowsy state of mind. I have been selling both for over 3 years. Melissa is my personal favorite.
nmck (714.4 days ago) Hello Heather! I take Valerian root from time to time to help me sleep. It works fine. I have also taken it to help me relax when I was super stressed out last year over my master`s exam. Not sure if it helped the relaxation as I did not take it regularly and some of the things I read said you should, but it certainly did not hurt!

heathert (714.6 days ago) I take melatonin to sleep and am adding valerian root to it for anxiety and to relax at night but there both capsules is the drink better? I heard the valerian can be good for menstural cramps, migraines, IBS, nausea. I hope it helps with anxiety, cramps, and migraines! That would be nice
