hotpotaaaaato (708.9 days ago) I think it looks soooo awful and tacky.... makes me think the family is poor and ghetto.
jenakers (709 days ago) A swim diaper is fine but, I think it LOOKS better to have trunks or a suit on over it. I think it looks tacky when I see a child at the store in just a diaper, unless it is a newborn.
charliebaby (709.1 days ago) So long as it`s a swimming one, then I don`t care but a regular one is gross! Nobody wants to see a poo float past them! LOL! I wouldn`t plan to do it with the sunburn risk but sometimes you don`t plan to go swimming, you just do - I met some friends at the beach the other day for lunch and it was such a nice day, even though I didn`t plan on taking my son down to the water, I just had one of those impulsive moments where the experience outweighs the impracticalities of not having his swimmers so I let him go in the water in his clothes (it was 34 degrees celsius!) and changed him into just his nappy afterwards. I will remember that ad hoc, fun moment in years to come.
Bek 30 (709.1 days ago) We spend all our time at the lake as we do water sports every weekend, my 2 year old is dressed in a little swimmer ( swimming nappies in aus), a full piece swim suit and then a wet suit over the top. But my daughter hates clothes and as soon as you turn your back, she is butt naked showing her girlie bits off for the world to see...a wet suit is way to hard to get off....lol, but not only does it stop her from stripping off, helps keep the sun away.
EandTsmum (709.2 days ago) I`m just purely curious as to what people think. I live in far too harsh a climate to ever do this but I have no problem with it. and yeah I use a swim diaper too when my boys go swimming.
LKDream (709.2 days ago) I use the swim daiper, but my LO wear a swim shirt with it.
Rubes (709.2 days ago) I voted `it`s not OK`, because you don`t know who`s watching... I can`t even watch the Huggies advert without boiling with anger at the sick pervert who`s probably watching it... Anyways, my own personal opinion.
military~mommy (709.2 days ago) A swim diaper is fine, a regular disposable diaper is tacky and shouldn`t be allowed in the water.
