Also it picks up if the baby is tossing and turning... You can hear everything that goes on in the cot... from babies voice and cry to movement...
canadababy (708.6 days ago) I like the higher up model of Fisher Price Lights and Sounds? I think it`s called....the lower model(I think around $40CAD) was terrbily staticky so we traded it in for the next higher up one, I think around $90CAD. It has a digital channel display on the 2 handsets that comes with it and the base is round with a digital dispaly. It`s very sensitive and even if you have the volume turned down you can see the lights light up when there`s noise. Great range too, I can use it 100 feet away in the backyard or the front yard with no problems, no static.
ladykilla421 (708.6 days ago) I have a home guardian one, its a sound one....I love it! Although it was fairly pricey its definately worth the money...It has 2 way walkie kinda thing so you can talk to your baby is she starts to fuss, it also plays lullabyes....Its awesome!
domsmom2009 (708.6 days ago) I have a safety 1st monitor (just sound). it was about 25$ I think and it works great! I don`t feel the need for anything too fancy :)
shesxchaotic (708.6 days ago) We co sleep but my son does sleep in his crib for naps here and there. We have a fairly cheap sound monitor and that thing is SUPER sensitive! Even with the volume pretty low we can hear him breathing
rosye13 (708.6 days ago) We have a summer infant video monitor, and I love it! I love being able to peak in at our babies without disturbing them. And it`s sensitive enough that if I turn it up really loud, I can hear their breathing. Which is nice with newborns. Anyway, I know they are expensive, but it`s honestly one thing that I would splurge for. It really gave me peace of mind.
