GoonieMomma (692.1 days ago) lasagna freezes SO well. assemble, then freeze (don`t bake). Also, stuffed manicotti (tip: use the no-boil lasagna noodles instead of manicotti, boil a minute or two then roll them around the filling; much easier than stuffing manicotti with a tot around!)
BabyBsmomma (Joni) (707.1 days ago) Here is a good one for a cheesy hashbrown/ham casserole, super easy..i plan on freezing it for my friend this weekend who is having a c section on monday!

cadesmommy (707.1 days ago) I freeze so many things so that I can make easy dinners and we dont have the urge to eat out. I like knowing I have meals in the oven and I always know the ingredients. Some of my favorites are black bean soup, red beans and rice. I dont combine the red beans and rice until the day I eat it though. (rice is easy to freeze, run it under cold water like this http://www.recipezaar.com/Plain-Rice-Make-Ahead-OAMC-Throw-It-in-the-Freezer-159839) For the red beans I use a recipe similar to this http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1942,143162-229201,00.html but I dont use beef broth (I am a vegetarian- we use water) and I use dry beans. It freezes so well and its super cheap. I double the recipe and freeze half and eat half :) Also, many muffins freeze well. I make muffins then heat them up for breakfast for my son and I. We also make `chicken` noodle soup (being vegetarians we substitute chick peas), chili, vegetable soup, and a lot more. I probably have at least 10 meals frozen in there right now. Also, you can go to recipe zaar. com and type in `oamc` (once a month cooking) and it will pull up recipes. Good luck :)
domsmom2009 (707.4 days ago) My mom made me a bunch of `TV dinner` style meals. she`s cook potatoes, veggies and shake & bake chicken in a bunch of dishes then freeze them.
AbbottBaby2 (707.5 days ago) Chilli full of veggies! It`s one of my favourite freezer friendly meals.
Str8 As (707.5 days ago) Not really any recipes, but you can make chicken veg soup, veg beef soup or just vegetable soup. All three freezes well and they all pretty much start off the same way. I usally make a homemade stock (chicken, beef or vegetable). You can also make spaghetti, lasagna. I also made homemade potpies and pasties....

My hubbie and I tried this recently and LUV this recipe. It also freezes well which makes it exactly the type of recipe I`m looking for ;) Thanks.
