See I was always told that red hair is domanit, doesnt matter what colour the other person has. Kev`s mom has red hair and she had 5 kids all except the last one has bright red hair. So im thinkin im gonna have a ginger but that is ok with me they all have a really nice colour of red. I want a baby with red hair!!!!!

I actually thought red was recessive, my father is red and none of us girls are red-headed, my sister married a red-head and their daughter is now a red-head. I think it`s hard to make a red-head, I would love one though but don`t expect it as there is no red on my husbands side.

i know a red head woman, both of her daughters are as red as can be! i heard that red hair is a dominant gene, and the baby is more likely to have red hair than not if one of the parents has red hair.

It depends...you only have a Red haired baby if BOTH parents have the Red gene somewhere on each of there families side. It could come from a a aunt or farther along in the family tree, but it should be in BOTH families.

I have dark brown hair and my boyfriend has very red hair. Our daughter came out with red hair but it has turned very blonde. I never thought i would have a blonde kid haha. Hoping that baby number two has dark hair, or looks like me even a little bit haha.

Hmm.. thats a hard one, my cousins both have red hair, a lot more red than your DH (looks like anyway) and their first & second kids came out with blonde and dirty blonde hair! Not even a hint of red at all! And their baby`s mother`s both have dark brown hair! But one cousin has a third baby and he does have red hair, very cute too! :)

my hair is red and my husband has dark hair - my daughter has brown hair with red highlights. When she is in the sun or we take her pic with a flash it looks redish. When she was born it was jet black.

I`m also wondering aboout the hair color. Mine is brown and my husband is Scottish and has red hair. I think it will most likely be a ginger baby =)
