KR (706.4 days ago) Im very OCD about everything. People always pick on me and say when they come over it actually feels like i dont have children because there is no sign of baby stuff anywhere. My kids have a very neat organized room that i recently re designed. They each have their own toy box (one for girl toys the other for boy toys) Im looking into getting just one toy box though (still not sure) I like to keep Matching containers in their room (one for fame yard animals, one for leggo, etc)
shesxchaotic (706.6 days ago) Hahaha me too! Everything has a very specific place and placement lol
honghuzhenni (706.6 days ago) Yay! I`m not the only one! LOL I go nuts about it. Even if my son (abt 2 months) is crying and I need to rock him or keep putting his binky in every minute, in the meantime I`m trying to clean up the mess. Yes, I have actually held him with one arm and bent down to grab the toys with my other hand, until everything is put away correctly. I`m nuts. Haha
jas1987 (706.6 days ago) I think i am worse than all of you! Everything has to be in the same place after my son has finished with it... little people sets, we have so many over 20 sets and they all have to have their parts together... Balls have their own tub, fisher price toys like those rings and rattles and telephones all have to go back in an actual fisher price tub... Cars have their own tub... Books have to be on the shelf, his big fisher price toys like his laugh and learn chair, laugh and learn table, have to be lined up neatly against the wall I actually have a photo of my nursery and playroom... I am so bad with it my fianc`e picks on me too, and if i can`t find a toy i basically won`t stop looking till i find it, i know exactly what i have... I clean his playroom when he goes down for a nap, after he has a bath and after he goes to bed... I`m really bad lol!
MelissaJoanne (706.6 days ago) I`m the same and my husband laughs about it too. When he puts the toys away at night I still need to look over them and make sure he put everything away in the right place, and that all the pieces of everything are accounted for. I get so annoyed when stuff is `missing`, because he didn`t bother getting a toy from under the couch, or put it away in the wrong place. :-)
hunnybunnysmama (706.7 days ago) I keep everything together - not to say she doesn`t have a toy box full of random junk... but if a puzzle is missing a piece, etc, I`d probably get rid of it. Broken or missing pieces drives me bonkers.
amber325 (706.8 days ago) lol I have to put the little people farm people together and stuff BUT most is thrown all in a huge toy chest....tons of balls and odd pieces that go with 20+ different toys. I am just glad they are off the floor.
munchkinsmommie (706.8 days ago) I am glad I am not the only OCD mommy. I hosted playgroup today and everyone helped clean up before leaving but now I have to redo it. I just want to say leave the mess I will do it. It is nice that they help. But everything is not in the right place NOW hahaha
marli (706.8 days ago) I`m totally OCD, haha. The boys toy room MUST be cleaned up everynight. All the toys have a certain spot they have to go in. The little stuff gets put in the toyboxes. I only let a few toys at a time brought into the living room (other than that they all stay in the toy room). If my husband picks up the toy room 90% of the time I go in after him and re-organize, lol.
kyanaandmalachismom (706.8 days ago) I like to keep my daughters room organized. I have barbie with barbie stuff, baby doll clothes together, baby accesories ex: bottles, plates, spoons, all together. It`s getting harder know that she is 6 and cleans her own room, but I still go in there and organize. I can`t help it.
