numberj (705.3 days ago) You are still quite early in your pregnancy that you may even have a change of heart, and pick a whole new name.
If the name Allison Nicole holds no family tradition you may go with something else. I thought I had my baby`s name picked out weeks ago, and just 2 days ago I decided it wasn`t what I wanted. If I had a family member (even distant) I would not want the whole name to match their`s. I would keep the Allison, but use a different middle name. I would only keep Nicole if it ment something (if it was yours ect...). Having your heart set on a name so early, maybe not a good idea as you may decide to change it closer to the date, or when you finally meet your baby girl!!
momof2under1:-) (705.5 days ago) I voted for keep the name. Not only because she lives so far away, but she might even feel privileged. lol
babyloveg (705.7 days ago) We decided were going to keep the name. In my fiances family they have more than one Maria, Jose, Pablo Antonio, Marcelo, etc. Thats his latino side. So now I won`t feel so guilty keeping the name we fell in love with. Thanks to everyone for your help!
smiling politely (705.9 days ago) google your own name.. id bet you will find at least one person mentioned on some website who shares your name. my point is, unless you make up a name, there is just about a 100% chance there will be someone else with a matching name. So, name your baby whatever you like!
canadababy (706.3 days ago) Personally I wouldn`t think twice about it...who cares? If everyone was okay with them having the same first name the middle name really shouldn`t matter :)
mommyof2soon (706.5 days ago) If it bothers you maybe change the spelling would help? My sisters name is Nicole spelled Nicolle. or do Allyson
