RNMom2010 (705.8 days ago) Before I had my son, yes I would have. But since having him, and understanding that beautiful bond and knowing he is MINE I could not stand to know I had a genetic child (children) out there. I went to nursing school with a girl that donated her eggs, she made great money off of it, and I think it is a wonderful gift if you are able to detatch yourself from that genetic link.
california-mom (706.2 days ago) Yes. I was in the process of doing it with a company (the same company my sister donated 3 times for) but ended up pregnant =P
bellajenna (706.3 days ago) my SIL who has 2 kids just did this last year the family now has a lovely little girl. I think its amazing and selfless I wouldnt do it b/c the hormones they inject into you but I give kudos to thoes who do. Little heros IMO.
KR (706.4 days ago) Before i found out i was pregnant with my son i actually called to get information on it. I wanted to be able to help a family who truly wanted to experience life with a child. Though i was told in Canada it is much more difficult to actually do. That it would have to be a family memeber or friend.
charliebaby (706.4 days ago) If they lived far, far away and I was well and done with having my own children, then yes. I`m single and would consider sperm donation in the future so I can`t be a hypocrite. although I hear it`s quite invasive for a woman so if it was going to implicate my own health then no...
canadababy (706.4 days ago) I might if it was painless and easy, but I`m not sure it is. I think in principle it`s the same as a sperm donor and I don`t think that`s a big deal. So I`m a maybe, BUT I think my DH would freak out if I even suggested it, he`s kind of weird about stuff like that.
domsmom2009 (706.4 days ago) I would personaly never do it. the only children that will ever have my DNA will be my kids that I raise. but if someone does it, it`s there choice. I have nothing against it. it`s just not for me.
