charliebaby (705.4 days ago) Cloth nappies from the get go. I would also stress less, have a more easy-going attitude to pregnancy and babies. I would also save my money and not buy a baby swing, bumbo seat, portacot etc. And I wouldn`t buy baby shoes until the baby started walking, my son is forever pulling his off and losing one - waste of money. I sold my vibrating bouncer seat but I would definitely invest in another one, it was a lifesaver, so too my doppler - I have kept my sling & baby monitor just in case.
firstlittleangel (705.6 days ago) This time around I will bring stuff I actually will need/use in the hospital! ha ha!!
LjsMom0708 (705.7 days ago) I will get my new baby on a sleep schedule and have them in their crib from day 1..my 19month old son is still sleeping with us and REFUSES to be put in his crib!
momof2under1:-) (705.7 days ago) With my first I just wanted to know what the future held (what will they look like, how will they act, etc). This time around I will just relax and love having them be a baby :-)

KristinaA (705.8 days ago) 1) get the professional newborn pics
2) not try to force the baby to latch the first week of nursing
3) follow eat-activity-sleep routine earlier
4) let the baby cry a little bit more if it seems like he/she is attempting to fall asleep (not jump to pick up baby at every wimper)
5) not wait until 5 weeks to introduce a pascifier.
MamaTex (705.8 days ago) Relax. I am hoping to not be as stressed as I was the first time around!
Stay@HomeZOOKeepa (705.8 days ago) Every baby is different, so dance with it! Never try to get my babies to reach milestones early...let them be ready and enjoy them each step of the way before they aren`t babies anymore! No co sleeping or rocking to sleep for me, learned my lesson! I think there is a saying something (but not literally) First child you catch, second you watch fall, third you push down!
military~mommy (705.8 days ago) Plan to co-sleep (it just happened with my daughter), start out baby wearing with a wrap instead of a sling, go into BFing with a more relaxed attitude, let my mom come out to help after the birth (I thought she would just interfere with bonding, after an unexpected c-section I so regretted her not being there), introduce a bottle earlier (waited until 5 weeks with DD, she refused the bottle and I had to be at work 6 wks PP), cloth diaper from the get-go (saves so much money!), learn to relax about milestones and just enjoy my baby being a baby!
