tto (702.8 days ago) I would offer him the same meal as kids will later waste their dinners so they can have a tastier snack later. My son is only allowed a snack of different food if he eats his meals well, if not, same meal (he`s 5 and this has been going on for a while.) My younger son is 1 1/2, and I would offer the same thing when he indicates he`s hungry again. But at the same time, I wouldn`t feed him to close to a meal or I`m setting him up not to be hungry enough to eat it. Think about how old your LO is, that often changes things because kids form habits the older I get.
RobinG (703.9 days ago) Unless there was something wrong with it I`d never throw it away. There are children starving in this world and we as a world throw away/waste to much food that is still good so if the food is good I`d def serve it again.
charliebaby (704.1 days ago) I personally don`t like reheating things over and over so any leftovers usually go to the dog but if its fruit or something that won`t spoil then I`ll mix it with yoghurt or cereal and offer it that way.
t555rm (704.4 days ago) Sorry for the typo. I meant `essentially`. To answer my poll I usually just offer him a snack if he`s eaten atleast 1/4 or 1/2 of his meal. But if it`s pretty much left untouched then I`ll offer the same thing a little later. I know some moms who discard it coz meal time is over. Just wondering what u ladies do.
