Kevinsmilfx2 (703.2 days ago) Try the B-R-A-T diet: Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast. I have always had problems with diarrhea, and would take Imodium AD all the time. While I was pregnant I tried to steer clear of all meds (even tho Imodium is quite safe. B class I believe is what I was told), so I tried this diet - WORKS GREAT!! I still use it to this day! Haven`t taken Imodium in almost 2 years!! :-) Hope you start to feel better soon, I know it`s so frustrating. Best thing you can do is keep nursing!! And you don`t need to pump and dump if you take Imodium. :-)

Rubes (703.6 days ago) I had terrible dirreah (sp??) after giving birth... For about 8-weeks... Then it turned into TERRIBLE constipation (think giving birth..................) Anyways, I was given Lactolus for the constipation (which you can take while breast-feeding), so maybe there`s a stool hardener for breast-feeding Mommas??

Try adding yogurt or another form of probiotics to your diet.
