I LOVE THE NAME!!!! Im having a little girl due in July, Her name will be Imogen Rita.. I have read that Imogen means Image of her mother and Rita means Presious/Pearl (It was also my leta grandmothers name. So I say Go for Imogen!!!!

Depends where you live, it is an English name from Shakespeare (but suppose to be Innogen in the play not Imogen, it was a writen error).

All I can think of is Imogen Heap (the singer). I`ve never really thought of it as an everyday name but it is pretty!

How funny you should ask that!!!. My partner and I were thinking really hard about that name for months, and deciding if we should name `if` baby was a girl. Then we totally went off it, when we seemend to hear that name everyday..example.. walking down the street, in grocery stores, even on vacation....and decided it seems it is a name of this generation, and is common as hell!!!!. Also it sounds terrible when the child gets shouted at, or called by there Mother IMOGEEEEEEEN!!!...lol.....
