domsmom2009 (702.3 days ago) might be the formula. if you`re ing playtex bottles (with the drop ins) make sure the air is fully out. might be the bottle you`re using... it can be many things (common in babies)
jessica-rn (702.6 days ago) I used to lay my daughter across my knees, when I was sitting in a chair or couch, then lay my Dr on her belly across my knees. .... it would help with her being fussy from gas

annas-momma (702.6 days ago) Unfortunately, some babies are just extremely gassy because their digestive system is still learning how to function. I`ve heard wonderful things about Mylicon Drops. If she is on formula, that could cause her to be gassy. If she is breastfeeding, your diet can cause her to be gassy (I BF with my daughter and most veggies I ate gave her terrible gas!). I hope you and your baby find some relief soon! Good luck!!
luvin colton (702.6 days ago) my baby has been that day since day one on colostrum even, they cut everything possible from my diet and at 3 months he is still this way they just figure he has in immature stomach even though he was born only 2 weeks early it can happen to full term babies as well, its miserable i hate not being able to help him! mylicon will not help a truly gassy baby ,i also tried gripe water since its natural, but nothing helped. i have my baby on probiotics which seem to help with the pain aspect but he still farts all the time and wakes up from it as well. the probiotics are biogaia and made specifically for babies
(my baby is only bf, no formula or bottle ever, were just the unlucky ones, good luck!)
rosye13 (702.7 days ago) Okay, I just looked at your profile and saw you were in Canada, so I`m not sure if they have Targets there. But call around and find a store that has a generic brand and you can get them much cheaper :)
Dezzi (702.7 days ago) Is she on formula? Sometimes that can make them gassy. Or she could be like my daughter, who is just naturally gassy. You could try Oval drops to break down the gas a bit and make her more comfortable.
rosye13 (702.7 days ago) Gas is a very common problem with newborns. Keep burping often even if it doesn`t seem to be helping that much. Sometimes baby bicycles help move it through too. Just lay her on her back on the floor and take her little legs and move them up towards her belly and then away as if she`s doing `bicycles` (like the exercise). Basically, their digestive systems are just very immature. Get mylicon gas drops (only, don`t pay $14 for the name brand! Go to target and get the target brand for about $3. Look at the ingredients, they are identical! Just ask someone for the target brand infant gas drops ) The gas drops are a life saver! And such an easy fix for most babies :)
