rosye13 (700.7 days ago) pinx av (pronounced pink salve). It`s my miracle cream!
military~mommy (701 days ago) I use an organic rash ointment (Grandma Ell`s) if it is bad (like from her being sick and having diarhea), if it is mild redness I use Burt`s Bees dusting powder. My daughter`s skin is very sensitive and she has allergies so we use cloth and generally don`t have diaper rashes...
*Summer Babies* (701.3 days ago) My daughter had VERY sensitive skin so we used A and D ointment. It works great!
jeff (701.3 days ago) breastmilk and/or cornstarch (yes like you get in the baking aisle) :) Our guy has VERY sensitive skin... so we tend to just rinse his bum with warm water (under the shower nozzle) after he poops... stops the rash before it starts ;)
T3POandR2D2 (701.4 days ago) Corn starch. Baby powder is not corn starch, it`s talc.

The stuff i use is called Arboone herbal diaper rash cream. My son has only gotten diaper rash a few times. But One use of this cream and it was gone the next day. the link above is to show you what it is..
Lou-Li-Ro (701.4 days ago) Lots of air on bottom and we use Weleda nappy cream -- you can get it in health shops. No nasty chemicals and lots of nice ingredients. It`s mild but it helps. If trying to get rid of a nasty case, caldesene powder and bepanthen cream from pharmacy can help. But I prefer not to use it unless really necessary!! TRy to use just cotton wool and water to wipe bum instead of wipes; wipes are very harsh.
Str8 As (701.4 days ago) I put vaseline on their bums at night only...that is it and never had a problem with diaper rashes. to cure a mild case, bath the baby and let bum air dry for a while, apply ointment and it should clear within a day!
KR (701.4 days ago) Penaten.. Best thing every also very common!
firstlittleangel (701.5 days ago) I called my doc and he put together a perscription for my DD. it has worked great.
EllaG (701.5 days ago) Like cornstarch you get in the baking aisle?
danilynn (701.5 days ago) Sometimes I use Desitin, other times I use plain corn starch. Baby powder is just scented cornstarch- but plain clears things up much faster. I guess it has a lot of natural healing properties.
domsmom2009 (701.5 days ago) My son is now almost 8 months old and I`ve put diaper cream on him maybe a handful of times. I just use store brand :)
