EllaG (699.9 days ago) I hate ANY propaganda like this being shoved down my throat, regardless of the issue. I do think that women who go to abortion clinics should be independently counselled and given the facts, not bullied into making a life decision based on gorey photographs - and these photos certainly shouldn`t be in public places.
amber325 (699.9 days ago) I am all for them! Without them woman/ young girls would keep doing them! I had no clue how risky/ ugly abortion truely was until I saw a poster for it! It is not something to take lightly....like lots of people do. I do not think school zones are the best place for them....Maybe Highschool area for sure and colleges...But not near a gradeschool
jenakers (699.9 days ago) Wrong, wrong wrong. If you`re against homosexuals are you going to march around a poster of two men graphically having sex? What gets me is that there is no proof that the pictures on the billboards are what they say they are. If I look up miscarriage and DNC you get the exact same images. I would think that their respect for life would prevent them from showing that life in it`s worst moment and perhaps hold up a poster of a smiling cute baby.
charliebaby (699.9 days ago) Yeah but a friend brought up a good point, thanks to the ad, she was forced to explain what an abortion was to her very inquisitive 5 year old son... No parent appreciates being put in a position like that.
canadababy (700 days ago) I don`t think it`s right either...but it gets people talking which is probably the main reason for the ad campaign.
charliebaby (700 days ago) We have a State election this weekend and the Pro-Life party have quite distasteful advertisements on main roads/highways and also in areas where children see them, ie around schools. Whilst I understand they have a passionate view on this topic, I don`t think it`s appropriate to have pro-life posters plastered on every street corner and most definitely not around school zones. In fact, I would go so far as saying that their campaign has actually achieved the opposite of what they intended. People are up in arms, not about what they`re saying, but the inappropriate nature of their material.
