charliebaby (698.9 days ago) OMG! At 6 months, the jolly jumper and his `play time` in his cot was the only time I had to do things like the dishes, a shower or a load of washing. I would think that it`s physically impossible, not to mention impractical to be entertaining your child 24/7. My son will often crawl up to his bedroom and play by himself for a while. He`s happy in his own company but I also play with him too.
Ready4No2 (699.5 days ago) Best piece of advice I ever received was from my midwife: You do not have to be the sole source of entertainment for your baby. It was like telling me to give myself permission to let her play by herself once in a while.
