marli (697.8 days ago) New balance make great running shoes! I recently bought a pair of Under Armour runners and love them. You really should go to a specialty store and get properly fitted for a shoe. Also stretching is HUGELY important.
charliesmummy18 (697.9 days ago) I was also a cross country runner in secondary school and i also ran for Essex a few times. I agree with annas-momma, you definatly need to warm up before you do any exercise and cool downs AFTER your exercise to stop any cramping/stitches etc.
hope this helps x
annas-momma (697.9 days ago) I used to run cross country in high school and college and the best on road and trail runners I ever had was a pair of New Balance. It is so important that they fit correctly, too. You DEFINITELY need to do warm ups and cool downs before and after you run!! You can cause some bad cramping if you don`t. I just Googled some good stretches and this has pictures and everything. Take care! http://www.halhigdon.com/15Ktraining/Stretch.htm
