Lou-Li-Ro (697.3 days ago) For a boy; Cyril, Cecil, Russell, Dwayne/Duane and plenty others. For a girl; Jade (soooo over-used in my country), Janice, Melissa, bernice, Bernie, Maureen (my Granny`s name! I love her just hate the name!) and male diminutives like Patricia Harriet Charlotte etc. I also hate when people of other countries say their kids have `irish` names and they are not Irish names at all!! Sooo annoying to me, as I am Irish.
katiebear (697.5 days ago) I don`t like names that end soft(ex ava ....no offsense) and leave you hanging. A must for me is the name MUST make you smile as you pronounce it ....makes for a happy child(you are smiling at them all the time!). I like the name K and J names that are predictable spelling. my daughters name is Kate Lynn and our son will be Jonah Bryan. both and clear and strong but sweet and happy sounding
california-mom (697.5 days ago) I dont care for super plain names like Sarah, Jennifer, Jessica, Katie, Michael etc. Probably bc my names Erin and there were always at least 3 other Erins in my class =S
honghuzhenni (697.6 days ago) KR- I know exactly what you mean, I always think of that too for some reason. Domsmom2009-- That`s funny, I know one Kaneil, and it`s a girl, I never heard it before I met her either. I don`t think I could pick a most hated name...it`s too much work trying to figure which names I like the best. LOL Although names of things are so strange to me: Apple, Circle (yes, a know a girl named circle), Star, Angel, etc. I would never name my kids that.
KR (697.6 days ago) I dont like the more *natural* names like, medow, summer, rain, rose i cant think of anymore right now but im sure you get it lol. When i hear names like that i think of girls with long stringy hair in the 60`s wearing big flowy dresses or something. Not sure why haha
bluejeans (697.6 days ago) Besides all the crazy names I have never ever liked the name Tahnee pronouced Ta- knee
babydecember (697.6 days ago) Danielle -- I knew one once and she was an awful person.
domsmom2009 (697.6 days ago) Where to begin? LOL I`m not a big fan of kids of celebrity names .... Coco, Apple,Phenius (spl???), Bronx Moglie (spl??), Bluebell, etc..... OR the really old fashioned names like Gertrude,Alfred.... names that sounds like they`re made up. Like for example, at my son`s baptism, there was 4 other boys there. One of them his name was Kaniel??? I`ve never heard that name before and I`m sorry if I ofend anyone but I prefer classic names that I know how to pronounce.
RobinG (697.7 days ago) Many old old fashioned names like bertha, alfred, florence, zelma etc but if I were choose from current names I hear I wouldnt go with Angus
lovelee (697.7 days ago) Gaylord & Egbert for boys Fanny & Queenie for girls.
Rubes (697.7 days ago) Sonia (DD would have been a Sonia if I hadn`t spent 30-weeks trying to sway husband; HATE the name; no offense to those called Sonia). Can`t think of a least favourite boy`s name, though... I`m guessing something like Duke?? Those kind of names annoy me.
charliebaby (697.7 days ago) There are so many, of course the good ol` middle-aged type names like Bruce, Trevor, Frank, Colin, Marlene, Joyrene, Lorraine etc - I know so many my parents generation with those types of names, and even older names like Gertrude, Percy, Dulcie, Murray, Bess, Berryl etc - surely they`d never come back in fashion?! LOL! But my absolute least favourite names are Jayden and Taylor - I know they`re super-popular, maybe that`s why I don`t like them, it`s almost guaranteed if I go shopping to the local mall I`ll hear some mother bellowing `Jayden, Taylor come eya!`
