lovelee (696.3 days ago) I have had 4 kids in 5.5 years. Though I had a six month break between 3 of them. The last pregnancy was hard on my back but no other complications. My bff has 2 kids 1 year apart and they are fine. I dont think anything bad will happen to you or your bub as you past the six weeks it takes for your uterus to go back down to size. I love that my kids are so close in age, they share so much. Good luck :)
canadababy (696.4 days ago) I asked my OB this question when I was pregnant with my first, I asked if I had to wait a year or a certain period of time before I became pregnant again and he said NO. He said I`m healthy, relatively young (I was 30) and I was having an umcomplicated pregnancy and he said it was fine to have another baby whenever I wanted :) Ask your own dr if you`re unsure.
emy (696.6 days ago) It is recommended that you wait a year...
jaychay (696.6 days ago) i fell pregnant 9 months after my son was born. i didnt expect it to happen first time. this time its been a lot of strain on my body and pelvis. each person differs but i do think too soon you your body may not be ready
shesAWKWARD (696.7 days ago) they did medical research study and they saw an increase of risks like preterm labor, sids, and something else i cant remember that if you get pregnant b4 6 months post partum. it was on that day time tv show with all those doctors.. i dont know the name but its my moms favorite show.. but like others said its hard on the body..
buT thats not my opnion.. i had friends whos babies are just fine lol. but i think its probably not for me. but if thats what you and your SO want then who cares lol :)
marli (696.7 days ago) I`ve had three pregnancies in 2 and half years. I wanted my kids close in age however; it does make pregnancies harder IMO. My body never had time to properly heal and for everything to go back into their normal places. But I haven`t had any comlications due to subsequent pregnancies. I just hurt all the time, lol
proud-mum (696.7 days ago) i got pregnant 6 weeks after having my first child, my second child was however born 2 months premature, but he`s perfectly fine now :)
Holly28 (696.7 days ago) I have a friend who unintentionally got pregnant less than a month after delivering her first child. She had a lot of complications, her daughter was born early and spent the first year of her life in and out of the hospital due to medical issues. It is possible to have healthy pregnancy that soon after giving birth but not recommend it. As people have mentioned, your body needs time to heal. My Dr actually told me to wait TWO year, not the usual one that everyone else seems to have been told. Not sure why exactly but I am guessing it`s because my labor/delivery had so many complications.
KR (696.8 days ago) The baby will have the same chance as any but you should allow more time for YOUR body to heal. My mom had her babies 14 months apart. It was hard but they are best friends (two boys who are always taken for twins)
Stay@homezookeepa (696.9 days ago) My boys are 10 months apart. The doctor told me that sometimes that can be high risk but normally everything is just as smooth as the previous pregnancy. If you are a healthy women then there shouldn`t be a problem!
andriette and christians mummy liz (696.9 days ago) Well i would say wait at least 6 months,if u had a c section wait at least a year. Then again my hubby was 2 months old when his mom fell pregnant again,so they are only 11 months apart and they are 100% fine,no problems during either natural births.
maddoxandaverysmama (696.9 days ago) I gave birth at full term and got pregnant 4months later but gave birth 5 weeks early to a baby that wasn`t fully ready.. I hemorraged after having her and had to go on medicine twice and had blood pressure issues that almost got me re-hospitalized before she went home from the hospital. She`s fine now, just small, and has had a lot of upper respiratory junk her whole lil life of 3months so far.. its so hard with a 15mo old and 3mo old, they are 361 days apart... 15mo old doesn`t really understand that she`s not a toy and that he has to share, 3mo old doesn`t understand that he needs attention too, so we have lots of fits around here...
amber325 (696.9 days ago) I guess it would be fine..But I was told to wait no less then 6 months b/c it is hard on your body to go thru it all so quickly again. I mean I know it happens...BUT I wouldn`t. I waited til 12 months pp
bethk (697 days ago) My friend got pregnant 4wks after birth of her baby and baby and mammy are healthy and fine! I wouldnt recommend it as ur body is still recovering from the previous pregnancy tho xx
domsmom2009 (697.2 days ago) Most doctors recomend waiting a year before getting pregnant again. thats how long it takes for your uterus to get back to normal. some people don`t wait that long and it`s fine (baby is healthy and all) but it`s just a recomendation.
