NOT the depo, it is horrible, I know sooo many people it messed up, it messed my periods up so bad, I didnt have on for months, then when I did bleed I bled for months! 2 of my personal friends were permanently affected, and while I dont know specifics neither one of those women can have children now. The side effect are horrible it is just not worth it. And NOT the ring, lol, I know 3 ppl than got preggo on it while I was on it, looked it up and wow there are mant women complaining of becoming preggo after the ring! Good luck, I personally couldnt take pills either, lol, they made me feel crazy, really messed with my emotions...but not as bad as the others.

i had the mirena iud before i got pregnant this time around. it took a few months for my body to get use to it. i would have spotting but never really a full period. eventually my periods stopped all together. it only took 2 months after getting it removed i got pregnant and i only have one ovary. i plan on getting it again after this baby pops out. =)

I don`t like condoms, I don`t like the shot and I`m scared of an IUD, lol..I picked the pill for me :)

Yeah I had a horrible time with the depo, I was on it for like 6 months and I lost almost 30 pounds, it was gross I was just wondering what others thought of it.

I had the depo after my first and it was beyond horrible! Plus it caused infertility in trying for my 2nd.

Yeah I am planning to breastfeed for as long as possible with this baby. So I am trying to find something easy that wont effect mt nursing.

I have the implant, Implanon. I like it. I haven`t had a period since I have been on it and there is no `user error` possibilities. Also, I used to have a IUD and I hated that- but many women love it, so go figure.

I am trying to decide on a form of birth control after this baby is born, I have heard good and bad things about all of them. I was looking for others input or experiences!! Thanks agian!!

Recent polls- OMG, I posted on FB (in reponse to a suggestion made to me on From Our House To Yours) that I didn`t like a business because the items were very expensive and my friend got a bad deal there and the owner is threatening to sue me! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I actually paid a consultation fee and my lawyer told me that she was `absurd with possible mental health problems.` I am protected by the fisrt ammendment to express my honest opinions freely where I choose, but he said she can take it to court(because people can TRY to sue over anything) anyway and that it might cost me legal bills. We will both be out a lot of money because she couldn`t possibly win. Can you believe that? FML! First my records and now this! I hope my baby isn`t a bad luck baby. I see people not recommending or recommending businesses all the time on FB!

- ANGRY!!!! My jenakers account is missing my ENTIRE journal from my high risk pregnancy and my letthisonestick account for my 7 month old is completely gone along with my journal. I AM SICK OVER IT!
- I`ve re-thought the moderating of the member-postings. How does this sound? Let`s change it to usage, rather than length of time as a member. Say your first 10 or 20 polls, questions and pictures need to be approved by a Mod or something like that. Someone posting the racist polls and adding the kiddie porn is unlikely to participate as a normal member. Once you are verified as a regular member you`re no longer monitored.
- How long did it take you to get pregnant after you got your IUD (Mirena) out?
- Twilight valentines for 7 year olds... appropriate or not? DD received a valentine with a very... sultry smoldery Edward on the front and I was just kind of surprised that anyone would buy those for 7 year olds? I know I`m on the conservative side in general on those kinds of things, but this really surprised me!
- My daughter is almost 5 months and 3 weeks ago my hair started falling out. I know it`s normal but how long did it last for you?
- With all the issues going on with the site maybe we need an updated list on Mods. Obviously Laura is the one to go to but if there is a concern and it needs immediate attention and a Mod is online it may be good to know who is who so you can reach out to them. Mods, can you please post here so we know who you are. (Esp since some profiles names had to be changed because of recent log on issues)

- I think with all the posting issues IAP needs to appoint someone to verify all pictures, polls, questions, etc that are posted by new members. Sure, it`ll probably make things slower, but something needs to be done! Many websites have this installed and IAP needs it as well. Members that have been on the site for a certain time can be exempt, but if you are a new member, posts should be monitored. I`m going to copy this suggestoin to Laura and if you agree you should too!! :)
