My son hated both. We tried the swing on every setting and still he just screamed. Then we got a Sleepy Wrap and he adored it and I gave up on the swing, nbouncer, etc. Lol

my very active son would use his boucner chair to sleep in, but we had to bounce him violently and couldnt stop or hed wake up, we had to wean him at 3.5 months because i never got a brake, lots of crying from me and him, he hates his swing i try it all the time still in hopes since we bought a very expensive one , everyone i knew swore by a swing, but he cries, he also hates his car rides and stroller (6 months old now)

We have the Rainforest bouncer and swing, DD liked the swing when she was young but didn`t really care for the bouncer too much. We also had an exersaucer that she could `bounce` in, she really like that.

My first son hated being put down in any `holding` device- and it seems as if his little bro is following in his footsteps- Gosh I wish he would let me put him down!

All my kids were different. None of them disliked the bouncer but not a must. My youngest NEEDED his swing and the others didn`t care either way.

My son would hang out in the bouncer for a little bit at a time, but LOVED the swing.

My LO is 3 weeks old and cries everytime I put him in his swing and bouncer. I am hoping he will eventually like them.
