It is different for everyone...when we started TTC my Dr said do 3 cycles off BC since it is so different for everyone that ensures that it is out...we did 3 cycles and then started trying and the very first month of trying we conceived!!!

I think it`s a few months to get your natural ovulation back to normal, that`s why the dr`s recommend waiting about 3months (I think) to TTC once you`ve gone off the pill. You can get pregnant right away but you`re not ovulating on a regular cycle for a few months (I believe) and that makes it harder to caluclate your due date accurately.

Yeah I know you can get pregnant any time after you stop taking them (I got pregnant the month I stopped the pill) but I was just wondering when it has truly left the system or if it does so immediately or what

I think it`s different for everyone. I had a period on November 30th and then never took my pill again and got pregnant in December

I read that after one full cycle off b.c (this was the pill that I was reading about though) then it`s completely out of your system.
