MoNtRiCe8488 (1035.8 days ago) find a great midwife/or dr that supports you) Great support too
Lou-Li-Ro (1035.8 days ago) Go for it! And best of luck to you! I will be trying for a VBAC if I have another baby.
RobinG (1035.9 days ago) No way would I even consider it ~ I had a vbac and it was a horrible experience ~ I suffered two years of pain and healing from it and I`d never do it again ~ another mom on this site sadly lost her son to a vbac ~ not worth the risks what so ever ~ many docs refuse them because they know what could happen ~ yes some do well but you dont know if you will do well or not til you are in the moment ~ ((hugs))
hotpotaaaaato (1036 days ago) If the doc approves and says you can try, then I say GO FOR IT! I just wouldn`t labor at home at all in case something went wrong.
Mommyof-2-boys (1036 days ago) my MIL had a vaginal birth after 2 c sections and her labor was a piece of cake. but everyone is different so you should get the advice of your dr and what he thinks is best in YOUR situation
*happiestmommy* (1036 days ago) I think it would depend on why u had those c-sections. If they were bc of failed inductions, I would say maybe. If that were the case, I would let my body go into labor on its own the third time and try to deliver vaginally (with a 3rd c-section always a possibility). If the c-sections were bc of medical reason, I would not even chance it. This is my personal opinion. I have had 2 c-sections bc of medical reasons so a vaginal birth is not a possibility for me, but I say if your Dr is willing and the labor is progressing normally why not try?
shesxchaotic (1036 days ago) My aunt had 2 (unnecessary) c-sections because the doctor told her that her first son was `way to big to deliver` and he was taken by c-section and was only 4lbs and almost died in the hospital from getting spinal menengitis. She ended up with another c-section with her second son even though her labor was progressing naturally and perfectly because the doctor didn`t want her to deliver vaginally. She had home births with number 3 and number 4 with a midwife and both went perfectly, no complications. Obviously everyone is different and not every scenario is the same.
