I didn`t lose mine until well into labor on almost all of my children.

Not at any point did i notice a mucous plug. i was 2cms dilated when i first got examined and not at any time before or during labour did i see anything. So maybe it can come out in little bits that you wouldnt really notice it?

I didn`t lose my plug before labour. I also didn`t dialate at all until labour and everything was fine :)

you can lose your plug little by little and not even realize. so you may have actually already lost it.

With my first I was induced and don`t remember losing my plug. With my second I lost it on the Sat then went into labour the next day. But I did have 3 membrane sweeps.
