allynne7 (Jaime) (356.4 days ago) i SAID 12 MONTHS BUT i CAN`T REALLY REMEMBER! frigging caps! Sorry about the `shouting!
lisseo (356.6 days ago) I accidently put 10 months. I started at 9 months. We don`t have any allergies in our family, at all, so I wasn`t worried about giving them to him. Egg is just like any other allergy, if you have issues with it, then your child might, and its best to hold off! But now my son gets an egg every other day for lunch :)
frenchie23 (356.6 days ago) I too started with egg yoks at around 6-7 months... But I waited till she pretty much reached the 12 months mark to give her whole eggs... She`s my first, I did a lot of things `by the book` :P
jamie86 (356.6 days ago) I gave my daughter egg yolks at 6 or 7 months and she did fine with them so a few weeks later I gave her the whole egg. They say that they are less likely to have an allergic reaction to the yolks so it`s ok to start them at 6 months.
julz (356.6 days ago) I gave my kids eggs when they were about 11 months or so. But with my youngest I gave him a taste of eggs when he was 9 months old and he landed up being allergic to them and we had to rush him to the hospital because he was in anaphylactic shock (2nd scariest day of my life) We didn`t even realize it was the eggs, we thought it was something else. Anyways, sorry for going off topic, I hope I didn`t scare you...lol I would agree that around 1 is a good time to let them start eating eggs.
BabySchofield (356.6 days ago) Everything I have read says 1 year, my son turns 1 in about 3 weeks, I would think it wouyld be fine now, wouldn`t it? I just wanted to see on average what age you ladies started your children on them...Thanks!
