I think it depends on your lifestyle. It seems to me you like taking the kids out like me, so a double can be so convenient! Mentioned below, I would also avoid the side by side. They will literally take up the entire door. I tend to be out shopping at the mall, target etc and could you imagine ever fitting through an isle to look at clothes on a rack? It would be impossible. Anywhere that it`s crowded, and you need to maneuver around people, it made sense to have a front and back. I'm sure my kids would also fight or bug each other while sleeping in a side by side. My first two kids were only 18 months apart, so my oldest couldn`t really use the sit and stand models. I'm not sure if it would work for your kids. My son would get tired and want to nap. So my first double was a Graco duo glider XL. I liked it, but decided to upgrade with my last son, so that the infant car seat matched, and properly fit into the stroller. The stroller I have now is a Graco Quattro Tour Duo Stroller in Zurich. I found it at Burlington Coat Factory on clearance and had an extra 20% off coupon that made it really cheap! I am now pregnant with baby #4 so this was one of the best purchases I ever made.

I`ve had all 3 types of double stroller (side by side, front and back, and front seat with bench for toddler). I LOVED LOVED by far the side by side. It was the lightest and easiest to push without being so long. I`m only 5 foot so combined with the weight of the stroller and my kids- it was way too much for me. The side by side fits through doorways and is easy to steer. My kids are 2 and 3 so we are moving out of the double and back to a small single for my younger son. The only problem we ever had with it was in some stores the isles are very narrow and i had a hard time. We had a combi side by side- i highly recommend it. We also have a joovy sit and stand and a graco deluxe double front to back- definitely too heavy.

I have the graco sit and stand (the green one) love it! I use it for my 16 month old and my 7 year old sometimes sits (weight limit is 100 lbs I think) baby is 28 lbs 7 yr old DD is 39 lol. I am 26 weeks so when baby gets here the `stand` and bench part has a piece that my graco infant seat snaps on to so I will be able to put her there facing me for the first 6 months or so. Baby boy will be 19 months when she is born and then when I decide to move her to the front and him to the back he will be closer to 2 1/2 perfect! It`s not overly bulky and has lots of storage. It`s narrow like a regular stroller just long. It also works with most snap infant seats. It has 2 sun shades. My only complaint is the parent cup holder. There is only one and it`s not fabulous but hey you can`t have it all. I am also handy enough to open it pregnant holding my baby with one hand from folded position. I paid about $150 at babies r us with a sale. The instructions shows like 15 ways to use it love it!!!

I just bought a sit & stand today! For my 21 month old & 4 year old. My son walks 90% of the time, but it is going to be nice for those longer walks. Hopefully I still like it in a few weeks!

Uk has only one sit and stand last time I check and i wish I could afford it! so I have the one that is in the front and one in the back. It works fine with me. yes its a little difficult while maneuvering but I can take it on a bus or a train. I have a 2 year old and a 6 month old. The 6 month old is in the back but before, when he was too young to sit in it, a carseat fit securely.

Do NOT do a side by side. I promise you will regret it. Its awkward to push, and going through door ways and asiles is very difficult to do. I suggest a sit and stand. I LOVED mine and so did my children. My oldest would sit when he was tired, or run around when he wanted, and i wasnt pushing around an empty seat when he chose to run. I love the JOOVY stroller, best ever! Look into it. Highly recomended. When i had one child i would push the umbrella all the way back and it looked like a stroller made for one, which i think was great. It also folds really nice, better than any other double stroller, and it fits in a trunk nicely. If you choose to go with a double seat, i would suggest the front and back graco quattro which i also had and loved before discovering the Joovy! Gl!

  1. On Facebook I saw one of those like pictures, a mom who sent her child to school for days wearing out of style `ugly` clothes because she was bullying another girl about her clothes. Mom`s yourselves, what do you think of this type of punishment?
  2. Can anyone relate? My 4 year old is making all sorts of amazing connections which is great that he`s thinking about the world, but some of his thoughts are quite deep. He`s a natural born worrier (gets that from me!) and I try to protect him from as much as I can but there`s things that can`t be avoided. Ie, ever since Easter, he`s been plagued with fear about getting holes in him like Jesus (he learnt it at Kindy). Well just this evening he came out with `Why do you and Margo (Grandma) have holes in your ears like Jesus? Did you get your ears nailed to a cross?` He`s also obsessed with the fear of death.

  4. I`ve just opened up my facebook newsfeed this morning and there`s a whole bunch of photos of Saturday night antics. First there was one from my 19 year old cousin with her and her friends (looking thrashed out, dirty, bits hanging out of places they shouldn`t and just overall skanky), and another from a friend of mine who is 15 years older on a rare night out with her school friends (who are all mums) who looked gorgeous, fresh, clean, sexy yet classy (let the clothes rather than the skin do the talking - ie you don`t need your ass and boobs hanging out to show off a nice little figure) Is it just me, or are young girls looking thrashier than women in their 20s, 30s and 40s?
  5. Do you or someone you know raise their now school aged child with attachment parenting (baby wearing, never ever allow the baby to cry it out, cosleeping, baby let snacks and feedings, etc) 8f so, how does the school aged child/ren compare to their peers?
