ash.a (358.2 days ago) J&J is linked to really harsh things as well...cancer, reproductive issues, & neurological disorders to name a few, as well as what ladykilla421 mentioned. It is nice to see that the world is slowly opening it`s eyes to the danger in personal care products. I did a poll similar to this a year ago, and the results were far different!! (And not in a good way!) Anyway - thanks for the comments & votes ladies - I am in this field now, and find things like this very interesting!! :) To those that still use it- once upon a time it was a wonderful product - probably when your mom used it on you! Unfortunately in the times of `rolling back the prices`, they need to keep reducing the price of it, or Walmart will drop it off the shelves. The thing that gets cut out is the good sutff, and known cancer causing agents are added to bulk up the product. Take a little peek into the product, and reasses if you are still willing to use it on your children. :) I know I was honestly shocked & disgusted when I began my research!
1st-time-Toya (358.8 days ago) I think `regular` johnson and johnson baby products are too harsh for my baby because whenever i used them they broke her out but the weird thing is Aveeno isnt too harsh and i know its a Johnson and Johnson product. *shrugs shoulders* who knows why. Burt bees is good too!
ladykilla421 (358.8 days ago) Unfortunetely most mainstream commercial baby products contain alot of chemicals; alot of which can cause mild reactions anything from UTI`s to more serious things like moderate rashes and irregularities in organ function. Its very scary to think that such toxic products are made for use on children and marketed to parents who only want the best for their children. Its unfortunate that other proucts that which are not as `toxic` come with a significantly higher price tag. I suggest parents research anything they use on their children thoroughly before using it.
a.Love::k.alexander (359.1 days ago) I use Avalon Organics on my kids. But when my daughter was younger the only soap that didn't dry her skin was the johnsons moisture baby wash.
lisseo (359.2 days ago) I have no problems with Johnson and Johnson! Yes, there are better out there, but there always will be. We`re a happy Johnson family :)
BabySchofield (359.2 days ago) Johnson and Johnson is all my mother used on me and my brothers when we were babies, so when I bought baby soaps and shampoos that`s what I bought. I now only use the soap my mother in law makes for all of us, and she even makes a special baby one for my youngest son, which she named the soap after him and sells it :) but if I run out of his soap I use Aveeno, which I believe is a Johnson and Johnson product, and I have no problem using it.
MichelleMc(pink!) (359.2 days ago) I won`t touch J&J. I really wish I`d brought my own baby wash to the hospital with me, because that was what they used for my baby girl`s first bath. :(
ash.a (359.3 days ago) Just doing a little market research! Thanks ladies! :)
