Also Hay-lee. I think this is one of those names where you have to stick to traditional spelling other wise she might grow up always correcting people.

The spelling is wrong for that pronounciation. It`s the `Leigh` part. But, like the other ladies said, adding another `L` in there would correct the pronounciation to your choice!

Honestly, i think if you want it pronounced like Halle Berrys name, you should change the spelling, because i have seen many different spellings for this name, and everytime it has 1 `l` its been Hay-lee... just from my experience though. but i think you would CONSTANTLY have to correct people

I see Haleigh as Hay-lee mostly because it`s a more common name. Have you tried spelling it Halleigh with 2 l`s?? I see that has `Halle` more than with just one `l`
