one of my babys is breech and i also get the feeling that a foot hanging out when the baby is kicking. i also feel like he might kick his way out but im sure that wont happen its just how hes lying.

To Meplus2! I also feel like there is a foot or two 'hanging out' sometimes when my boy kicks or moves. It is an uncomfortable and unnerving feeling. I have just added it to the list of discomforts.

I am also 24 weeks but don't have that feeling of feet on bladder. I have been having pain on my skin around my belly button. It feels like the skin is bruised and tender to touch. I think it is the muscles stretching but not sure. I don't have any stretch marks yet though. So guess it's the muscle under neath. But very painful. Anyone having this?

Just wanted to flag with you all a strange sensation that I am getting at the moment. Both of my babies are breech (I'm 24 weeks, so there is still some time to see how they will present) Lately when i feel them moving I get a strange feeling in my vagina.. almost like a foot is about to pop out or something. Sorry to be so blunt, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had that? I have no pain and there are no signs of preterm labor. Is it just because I have 4 feet using my bladder and other organs in that region as a trampoline or should I be contacting my doc prior to my next appt??? Hope you are all well!

Ok lady's I have a couple of questions. Please forgive my ignorance!lol My wife's dr. said he hasn't seen a uterus like hers in ten years. I guess for twins it usually measures 3 1/2 while my wifey's measures 5 1/2. Doc says it great and he is excited.lol while my wife is extremely uncomfortable. she is 31 weeks today I think? she told the dr. to c section her b/c she can't take anymore pain after 34 weeks, he laughed and said with her castiron uterus he wouldn't. My question is what does the uterus do? the bigger the more the baby can grow? what about the cervix, when it softens what does that mean? I would ask my wife however she might get agitated by me.lmao please let me know!!!!

CONGRATS! To all of you on your twin pregnancy. My twins are almost 6 months now, man does time fly. I never thought I would say this being that my pregnancy was horrible!, but at one point (believe it or not) I did miss being pregnant, so enjoy it. My poor belly button... there doesn't seem to be that much left of it! Oh the horror!!! What if my inny turns to an outy?!!! LOL!!! Will be 28 weeks in 2 more days and the boys are still rocking around in there. Hopefully will find out today whether I have gestational diabetes. Oh the joy - just another feather in my pregnancy cap if I do!! Shortened cervix... low iron levels... it's so glamourous being pregnant! he he he. Good luck to all you twin mummies! Hi ladies! I can't remember if I have posted on the twins part of the site before or not! It's the memory thing Lol! I am 26 weeks and 5 days with identical twin girls. Both are doing really well, we had a little scare for a while with the ventricle fluid level with one of our babies but it has since rectified itself and is now within normal limits. Is anyone else dealing with excessive heartburn? I swallow tums like candy all through the night! Happy 4th of July too!

Hey All Twin Mommas just wanted to suggest PALMER'S Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Cream for stretch marks. It is really thick and I use it every night before bed, so far so good (I'm 23 weeks with twins). You can buy it at pharmacies or Motherhood stores. Apparently its the #1 cream and many women swear by it.

I am 25 weeks and having twins - a boy and a girl. My specialist has me on bedrest, and I found out today that I have gestational diabetes. My little boy has a little more fluid than my little girl. I go back to the specialist tomorrow. I'm praying everything will look better on the ultrasound.

HEY TWIN MOMMIES!! WE ARE NOW ALMOST 26WKS WITH THE TWIN GIRLS...WE HAD OUR MONTHLY SCAN WITH THE SPECIALIST AND THE GIRLS ARE DOING FINE!! THEIR FLUIDS ARE MEASURING PERFECT AND BABY GIRL A WEIGHED 1.5LBS AND BABY GIRL B WEIGHED 2.0LBS...SO WE ARE EXCITED...BABY A IS RIGHT ON TARGET AND BABY B IS A LIL FATTER...LOL...BUT ALL IS WELL...BABY B HAD HER LEG PROPPED UP ON HER SISTERS HEAD AT ONE POINT IN TIME IN THE U/S THEN IT LOOKED AS IF THEY WERE FIGHTING...WE GO FOR OUR 3D/4D SCAN ON JULY 18...THIS WILL BE SOOOO EXCITING...WELL, MUCH LOVE TO ALL YOU MOMMIES!!

Well I am 27 weeks with twins and have been told to stop work now. Bother!!! An open cervix is the issue so guess I will just have to listen to the specialists so that they stay in there. I feel absolutely fine, no swelling, stretchmarks, etc, etc, so is quite frustrating really. That, and the money would sure come in handy with buying two lots of baby stuff and going onto one salary. Never mind. What will be will be and it is good to hear everyone else hanging in there. Good luck mummies to be!

Just had my weekly check up from midwife, my BP has come down since being off work, which is great I feel so much better and rested. I've got my Anti D injection on friday (not looking forward to that as i've heard it hurts). I've got my 28 week scan on monday soooooo looking forward to that, my mum is coming with me and I think she is more excited than I am.

nenadf you could try bio oil. You can get it from the chemist/pharmacy in New Zealand. It is supposed to prevent stretchmarks and reduce them if they are already there - whether it works I have no idea, although have been using it. I figure your skin type is either stretchy or not, you will get them or not. A moisturiser or some such product might help. Good luck anyway.

I'm on my 28th week and I'm starting to get stretch marks...is anyone getting them as well? Does any one know of a cream or something to prevent them? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.... Thanks and good luck to all of you!!!

HI ALL TWIN MOMMIES...I AM NOW 25 WKS WITH TWIN GIRLS...WE WERE IN THE HOSPITAL LAST WEEK FOR 3 DAYS DUE TO ME HAVING BREATHING COMPLICATIONS...THEY RAN ALL KINDS OF TESTS AND DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG OTHER THAN AT NIGHT WHEN I GO TO SLEEP MY O2 INTAKE LESSENS BUT MY DOC SAYS NOT ENOUGH TO BE WORRIED ABOUT...HE HAS PUT ME ON COMPLETE BEDREST....SO NO MORE WORK FOR ME...SO NOW I MUST FIND SOMETHING TO KEEP ME BUSY!!! THE GIRLS ARE DOING FINE SOOO FAR...GOD IS GOOD!! WE GO FOR OUR MONTHLY U/S ON MONDAY TO SEE HOW MUCH WEIGHT THEY HAVE GAINED AND TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE GROWING GREAT...THE DOC MEASURED THE AMNIO FLUID TODAY AND SAID THAT IT WAS PERFECT SO THAT IS GREAT!! Hi Nickynoo and Twinmum2be08, I'm feeling for you. I think we all have to have a little bit of drama, it's part of the whole pregnancy deal, but at least we can just keep on hanging on in there huh??!! Went to Specialist yesterday to talk about my newly discovered shortened/incompetent cervix (is not completely closed like it is supposed to be to keep the babies in) and discovered that the scan notes also say that twin A may not be growing properly, or rather the measurements say one thing and the notes say another. So I am home from work again today hanging around waiting for the hospital to call to arrange more tests for me to check it all out. My poor fiance is really freaked, but looking after me as best he can. I figure if they haven't rushed me to the emergency ward or anything yet then I can't be too bad. I might have to have my cervix stitched, but for the meantime will just wait and see. I have had friends that have had nothing but drama after drama with their pregnancies and have still made it out the other side with happy healthy babies, so hang on in there ladies! I'm thinking of you!

Hi All, Sorry not been on here lately - Midwife app ok but still no idea on extra scans yet. Got Dr's tomorrow and my mums coming to read the riot act! I have gained 35lb and feel like a fat heafer (eating the wrong stuff but have a real sweet tooth). Hope you are all well. Taz x

Found out on the scan 2 days ago that we are niw showing signs of ttts,twin A only grew 400g in last 3 weeks and twin B grew 700g,also showing too much fluid in the amniotic sacs now.They said that they are now in immediate danger but are heading down that road. Have to be rescanned on the 7th then decide on a plan of action,am feeling pretty devastated.

im 25 weeks and measured 28 last week at midwife app, feel babies for most of the day and love 2 feel them, i get really bad heartburn at night when in bed. got us on monday hoping everything will be ok, at last scan one of the babies had small hole in the heart, but told not to worry, has anybody been told this in their pregnancy and it closed? im worrying slightly xx

I'll be pregnant 28 weeks on Saturday. They are Identical and are healthy and happy... This is our first pregnancy and my hubby and I are very excited and scared at the same time! The only problem i do have is getting up with a back-ache every morning, I turn onto my back, automatically in the middle of the night. I haven't gained allot of weight! Here in SA we use kilograms=2.20 pounds. I have gained about 7kg in 7 months. I have a scan scheduled tomorrow, so we'll find out how the babies are and how big they are getting now. I am so excited! I cannot wait for tomorrow....

Hi ladies. I will be 26 weeks tomorrow. Went for a scan yesterday and the babies are fine, but I have an incompetent cervix (I prefer 'challenged'). Had a bit of a freak out last night, especially after reading from some of the baby books.... miscarriage, pre-term labour, etc, etc. Midwife rang this morning and said not to worry - too late! And that lots of people carry babies with a shortened cervix. I have our first specialist appointment in 2 days time, so hopefully he will be reassuring as well, or at least tell me what I should do. Good luck to everyone else out there. Hope everything is going well.

Hi! For those who are expecting twins have you thought about the delivery options; whether vaginal or C-section? I am starting to worry about how my twins are going to be delivered if twin A is vertex and twin B is breech.

Hi ladies! I too am experiencing some contractions, about 3-4 an hour. Sometimes less sometimes more. My MD assures me that they are braxton hicks and nothing to worry about. He said that actually your uterus contracts the whole pregnancy, it is just to small to feel it. Now that we have gained 18+ lbs we really feel it. My belly also feels like it is going to explode. The skin is sooooo tight, I am just lucky that no stretch marks have appeared yet. As far as flying is concerned, I am 26weeks tomorrow and my MD said not just no, but hell no. He started saying that at 24 weeks. I am also lucky that I do not have to take any iron pills. My hemaglobin is actually high. I do not think that I could take the constipation on top of all the other aches and pains. I always joke and say ' you know that book What to expect when you are expecting. I think I have EVERY SINGLE STINKIN SYMPTOM :)

Kia Ora ladies,Ive made it to 27wks with identical boys,although uterus has been sized at 32/34wks,yikes! Have now got to wear a elasticated body support as the lower abdo muscles are straining and most movement is now painful. Kiwi crush is good for constipation,but if its not availiable in your country try making smoothies/dessert with a few kiwi fruit which will do the same.(I am a nurse in nz)Dried apricots are also very good. As for the iron tablets,i take elevit and now take spirulina capsules which has helped with my energy levels so presumably will have lifted my iron levels too. I have been thanking my lucky stars being this pregnant in winter here in nz,but have now got a bad headcold,which is making sleep even harder. Good luck to you all,i love reading about all your experiences,kinda makes you feel less alone.

Freda Springs, spokeswoman for Forsyth Medical Center, said the twins were delivered two minutes apart by Caesarean section on Tuesday at the center's Sara Lee Center for Women's Health in Winston-Salem. The boy weighed 10 pounds, 14 ounces; the girl, 12 pounds, 3 ounces. Springs said both babies are in excellent condition after their birth to parents Joey and Erin Maynard of Winston-Salem. The combined weight of the twins is about four pounds shy of the combined weight of twins born in Arkansas in 1927, the hospital said. Those twins weighed a total of 27 pounds, 12 ounces, hospital researchers said, adding they could find no public record of any heavier twins than the Arkansas pair born since 1900. They said the Maynard twins topped a 1997 delivery in North Carolina of big twins weighing a total of 18 pounds, 10 ounces. Has any of you been flying? How many weeks were you when you went? I plan to move back to Sweden and leave the 4th of July, I'll be 24 weeks. Thing is I might have to wait a few more weeks to get things finished here...meaning I might be flying at 26-28 weeks. Any comments or advise? Doc says I can fly till 30 weeks but I still would like any first hand accounts.

Hey guys! I hope everyone is feeling well. I just wanted some advice... I had to go to the hospital twice last week for contractions. And went to have an ultrasound yesterday and the babies are GREAT. but my cervix has gone from 3.65 cm to 1.9cm I am almost 27 weeks so I need to know if they will be ok?? has anyone else delivered very early??

Thank you for your advice on the iron tablets i have stopped taking pregaday and will mention the other brands to my consultant! I felt like i did the first 17 weeks of my pregnancy sick as a pig and have gone off my food again taking those iron tablets! I haven't taken the iron tablets for a couple of days now and feel slightly better but i suppose i have to weight for them to completely come out of my system! Thank you again for your help and advice xxxx

Charlotte, I was prescribed iron pills, but have kind of stopped taking them as there is already iron in my baby vitamins (elevit) and even when I was only having them once every 2-3 days, it was making me constipated. Kiwi crush is good for that by the way - but might be only available in NZ. Hope you are feeling better.

Charlotte74 my doctor has me on iron pills and we went through several different types before I found one that didn't make me sick. Ask him about Repliva. It is slow release and it doesn't make me sick at all. This is the only one that I have been able to handle.

Hi All, I am 24 weeks and a bit concerned as both twins are breech side by side - I feel the one on the left move all the time but I don't feel the one on the right at all. Has anyone had this?? I haev a midwife app this afternoon but I can't stop thinking there is something wrong - any advice would be great. Taz xx

i only feel the movement in the middle and the right side sometimes if i lay on my left i can feel them on the left.

Hi Vanette, that makes me feel a bit better. I just love feeling them, and there are all different types of thumps and bumps - who would of thought??!!! My fiance got to feel a foot actually nudge his hand this morning which was pretty cool, cause usually it's more like bumper cars in there - all you feel is after shocks! LOL!!!

manda-i feel the same way but its just the opposite side..i always feel movement on the right side and not the left...but the weird thing about it is that when i go for a scan both are bouncing every where and yet i only feel it on one side.

My boys move all the time, but I am feeling the movements mainly on my left side or in the middle, and hardly anything on the right. Is anyone else experiencing this? I am at 24 weeks, and my last scan was at 20 weeks, so am not sure which way they are sitting, etc. xx

How sick have i been today i hope my morning sickness hasn't come back? I had to get my partner to pull over in teh car today as i was sick. Met my consultant today at the hospital and he is going to induce me at 37 weeks 10 weeks to go whoopieeeee!! xxxxx

Quick update. Went to the high risk MD today. Sono measures them at 1 lb 7 oz (girl) and 1 lb 10 oz (boy). They are doing well and moving all over the place. Every sono I have he is VERY proud of his little boy parts and shows them off proudly :) He is getting a lot more active. It sed to be just her kicking the tar out of me, and now he is trying to show her who's boss. I think she still is going to win.

Charlotte, your tummy looks great acutally don't look big at all for 24 weeks, at my 25 weeks appt. doc said I am measuring 37 weeks already ...:)
