Ihave a question for you did you have hcg test done at about 4 weeks?? If so what were your levels. I had my done on 10do and they were 15 then again 12dpo and they were 36 now I am 19 dpo aand they are 730??? what do you think??

Hi - I am 12 weeks pregnant tomorrow with twins. I had an ultra sound at 8 weeks and could see both babies and heard two strong heart beats. I have my next scan this week and am terrified something will be wrong. I've had no problems so probably irrationale but keep reading stories of vanishing twins etc....

does anyone know if they only could see one sac..does that mean they are identical twins? I read there are much higher risks for identicals. im 39 years old and just had a baby 3 months ago Does this mean theres yet more risks? ive never been more afraid in my life. I just want these lil babies to be healthy. can anyone ease my fears. i hear so many horror stories that upset me, I would love to hear some positives...

Hey SarahSeryi ~ This is a little different, but my oldest sister has a condition where each of the three times she has been pregnant, it has resulted in twins. However, with her first and third child, the twin sadly died off semi early on, and with the second child, the youngest twin died off at four weeks old, as they were VERY early! I know...sad news...sad story... but if you, or someone else, is pregnant more than once with twins, get ALL the testing you can, as it is NOT AT ALL common. Hope this helps a little

Hello, my husband and I found out we were pregnant on June 17th, on July 7th I had my first ultrasound and found out we're pregnant with TWINS! Our expected due date is Feb 25th This is so crazy! I'm still in shock! I've been spotting for a week straight and I'm starting to get worried it's not a lot but it's enough to worry me... it's a brown color, when I mentioned it to my OB a week ago I was told it was old blood leaving the cervix and that it was normal, but is it normal for this long?

CONGRATS! To all of you on your twin pregnancy. My twins are almost 6 months now, man does time fly. I never thought I would say this being that my pregnancy was horrible!, but at one point (believe it or not) I did miss being pregnant, so enjoy it. Hi! I am new to this site. But maybe you can help. I am just not sure what to think. We found out on 6/15 that I am pregnant. I went to the ER on 6/18 (over reacting to literally a tiny drop of blood)- they did an ultrasound and measured my hcg levels. By my calculations I was barely four weeks (I had an HSG test on 5/21 and was not pregnant then). When they did the ultrasound sound they said they saw two fluid filled sacs (I think I was too early for them to see anything else) and they said my hcg was 6,000 (The ER doc said this was kinda high, but really did not give any further explanation). They sent me to my OB on 6/20 and my hcg came back at almost 11,000. So my OB said right now every thing looks good. I go on July 15th for my first 'official' visit, but I was wondering if anyone had something similar happen and it turned out to actually be twins. I have no family history.(No m/s - but, I have never had this with any of my pregnancies - but the heartburn is horrible!!) Thanks so much for any opinions!!

I had twins, who are now 7 years old. I had a 'feeling' I was having twins but my doctor wouldn't listen and didn't believe in early ultrasound. He never heard two heart beats. AT 20 weeks my husband and I paid for a ultrasound to determine gender - there were 2 boys in there! I just knew I had twins! Doc was very embarrassed and kept insisting my uterus was too small and he heard only 1 heart beat. My 7 year old sons are wonderful! I am now pregnant again and thinking twins again. At 9 dpo (days past ovulation) or a.k.a. 25 days since lmp (last menstrual period) I tested positive At 18 dpo (34 lmp) my HCG was over 2000 At 20 dpo (36 lmp) my HCG was over 4000 I found these website wonderful for those trying to figure it out. http://www.bobrow.net/kimberly/birth/hcglevels.html http://www.betabase.info

hey everyone....im 6.5 weeks and i went for my first u/s yesterday only expecting to see one heart beat but we were all shocked to see 2 lil hearts going strong... there has been a history of tiwns in both families but woah, this is my first pregnancy and its a shocker...i still cant believe it..they said the symptoms would be worse which was a relief cuz i was hoping notmal pregnancy wasnt this horrible...i was also told the babies were in the same gestational sac but later on we'd see if they had diff amneotic sacs...does anyone know any big problems or risk with that, she didnt get very specific....

Hi there!!! Im 6.5 weeks right now and will have the first u/s on the 3rd. Twins run in the family on my moms side and I ate TONS of yams to try to increase chances of conceiving twins. Preg test showed up + very early (15 days after conception) and I have been having terrible heartburn since 4 days after conception and lots of twin baby dreams. Any of you moms have these 'signs'? THANKS!!!

i dunno if this question is weird or not but sometimes for the past couple days later in the afternoon and at night when im laying down and then get up or if im walking around that ill have a dull pain between my legs i kinda feels like my muscels but im not sure does anyone know if this is normal or not??

Hi. I'm new to the board. Just found out a few days ago that I am 8 weeks prego with twins. It was great seeing the heartbeats on the ultrasound. I have to see a high risk doctor on Friday bc my son was born 8 weeks early (he is now 4) and I am only 4'9'. They want to make sure I'll be able to carry both. Is there anyone else on the board that's on the shorter side? Any suggestions??

Hi new mommies. I'm from Twins 28-32 weeks. Congrats to all of you. Vikki - My HCG Blood level was measuring 9 wks when I was only 5 weeks. So they elevated HCG in your blood may be twins. Good luck.

OK so here are my dates and HCG. I would love to hear some opinions! LMP 4th May ( which was a touch longer in bleed days, sorry tmi), 27th May hcg =226, 29th May hcg= 561, 2nd June hcg =3045 and 5th May hcg=9828! Sooooo....???? I have another blood test this wednesday ( 11th). Any comments?

Just also to add I haven't had an u/s as of yet and wont be dont till im 20 weeks so they say :( so I wont really know...will the be able to pic it up when they listen to the heart beat with my first appointment..I also feel sick all day and night

Hi girls dont know why im leaving a message here but I had a dream last night that i was having twins, boy and a girl...I always predict my pregnancies and the gender throught dreams and this one really freaked me out...This is my 7th pregnancy so 2 natural births (3yr old and a 25 week old) and 3 miscarriages...I hurd the more pregnancies you have the higher the chance is..They dont run on my mothers side but only on my dads which doesnt mean anything...I feel more MS and getting bigger quicker...Im just so worried...Any women have dreams and they were right.. Sorry to go on and on..

i went with my gut feeling and i was right!!! TWINS!!! but one sac was smaller than the other, is that normal? i'm thinking that one may not be viable...but i pray that my next ultrasound shows that there are still 2 in there. : )

I just got my results back from my CVS test. It is a boy! Unfortunately my baby boy will not be viable due to a rare condition called Tetraploidy. It effects 1 in 3,000 and is fatal. He has 92 chromosomes. XXYY What can cause this condition is a twin that did not split or 3 sperm fertilizing one egg. Don't be afraid to get a CVS test if needed. Good luck to all and God Bless!

If I have it in October I will be 9 months pregnant. If I have it in August I will be 7 months pregnant. Consider the body and weight changes between being 7 months and 9 months pregnant. Hi, everyone I'm 18weeks and found out last Tuesday I was having twin girls. I really was supprised because I had it in my head I was having 2 boys or one of each. I'm still really excited just nervous since I have an older son and I feel like I'm starting all over. I did want to see if its weird that my next doctors appointment isn't for another 5weeks away. How many doctor visits is everyone having around 18weeks? Just wondering. I'm a little nervous because of my 2 past miscarriages in the last 10months. good luck everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm 7 weeks, 5 days, had my first ultrasound yesterday and to our surprise there were 2 heartbeats, 152 and 154.. Has anyone here rented a doppler or bought a doppler. If so with the one I rented I pick up My heart beat(in the 90's) and two others,one around the 170's and one around 200's. ??? Does this mean anything. I had my last U/s at 8 weeks and had sub hematoma , but only one fetus in view.

question for you twim mommas to be! when did you get a positive pregnancy test? did you notice your tummy showing more quickly than normal singleton pregnancies? because i got a positive test only 1 week after i ovulated, my pants are already snug even though i've lost more weight. i feel like my uterus is larger than normal. though this is my second pregnancy...i'm only 3 weeks and 4 days along but the morning sickness and the symptoms are already so strong! i'm really wondering if there is more than one baby in there...

Hello, I am Jamie, and I am pregnant with our 2nd pregnancy, but it will be our third, or 3 and 4th child depending on if we get blessed with twins. I am a mother of twin boys they are 17 months now, and they are a handful and get into EVERYTHING!! I hope you all who are pregnant with twins have a nice easy pregnancy. With my twins I found out at 19wks, and got put on bedrest at 24wks and was told they could be born at any time. Scared me half to death, and I was also told I wouldn't make it to 28wks, then I was told I wouldn't make it to 38wks which is full term for twins. Well I'm proud to say I made it to 38 weeks and had two boys who were 6 pounds 3 ounces. But, I am wondering if I will have twins again and if so hopefully girls.
