Who do my boobs belong to?????? This is a question once baby is born and an issue you need to be ready to face. It's a strange feeling but your breast can become a bone of contention between you, baby and hubby. Husbands can become jealous of the competition. For a long time they have been just yours, then, yours and hubby's and then a third party comes on the scene and the battle begins.

Feelings towards your own breast change from being a womanly attribute or sexual thing to a milk production center. I sometimes found it hard changing between the two. You just finish feeding baby and he has gone off to sleep, then hubby gives you the look, you know the look, the come on babe look. You have just finished your day of having a baby sucking your breast every 3 hours and then you need to share them again in a totally different way and sometimes I just didn't feel like sharing them again, not because I was not attracted towards my husband but that I seem to be sharing my body all the time.

That all said, it's a balance and something that needs communication. Husbands can very quickly feel sidelined when baby comes and it is important not to make them feel pushed aside.

It's worth being ready for this feeling and even discussing it with your hubby before baby comes.

I hear you I have a 3 year old and I had let her feed till she was 2 1/2 and then when she turned 3 I found out I was pregnant. I was just now returning them to my husband(who thinks is the rightful owner) and now there being taken away once again lol I no he has to be a little sad. As long as your married they will never be yours again. Ha ha 3 children married 17 years and pregnant

I see what you are saying i also been pregnant and nursing for so long, over 6 years, non stop, and not much on the mood for sex, hubby suffers lots, but how can i get intimate if i have a baby suckink on my breast all the time, no way......I hear you no more sex drive, will it ever come back, the sex drive, i mean i love my husband but just dont have the time or mood to be making beautiful love 24/7. He gets lucky if i am on a mood for sex once a week.....Is there any solutions to this...... I know hubby is suffering

i totally get that, and I didn't even realize it! after having a baby on my boob all day i just want to be left alone...poor hubby! lol i was wondering what my aversion to sex has been....

ya i understand. my hubby felt kind of put to the side but mostly because you just dont feel like being intimate. I never thought this owuld happen to me because I have alwyas had a high sex drive. So it definitly took me by surprise when it took me like really 4 months to get back into wanting too. the no drive thing defintily makes it harder on yoru hubby.

I didn't ween my oldest son until he was two and I was three months pregnant with my younger son and I didn't ween the younger son until he was two, too, and I was two and a half months pregnant with this one! If I nurse until this one is two, I'll have been either pregnant or nursing for seven years straight!!! My body is NOT MINE! I miss my own boobies!
