i am 37 weeks but measuring 39 weeks i just wanted to know how many mom out there measured bigger and their babys came early?

mommy-of-3 - 87 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I always measured a little big, usually a week ahead but my kids all came right around their due dates.

Zenzabar - 90 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) at 36 weeks i measured 39 weeks. i don't think it meeans that much, it seems to me that most of the woman on here measure a liitle big. I was due dec. 17th and had her on the 12th you really never know.

hhall - 91 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I measured smaller with 2 pregnancies and they both came early, at 37 weeks. It also depends on position of baby. I was breech my last pregnancy and my measurements increased when baby turned

2nd1ontheway - 91 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) My son always measured further ahead and he was only born 3 days shy of 40 weeks. So, don't get your hopes up too much.

kayleighrobo - 91 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) with my first i was 30 weeks measured 40 weeks he came on his due date weighing 9lbs but he was really long in length second time it was the same exsept 3 weeks early and my third i was measuring at 37 weeks 24 so i had to have a sweep and stuff it depends really dont forget the scan dates arent acurate give or take two weeks xx

eastern-Canadian-Lady - 91 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) My friend was telling me that she had the opposite problem. Her us (4 of them) showed her baby to be due on or around dec. 27. Mid January the baby still didn't come. her ob/gyn wanted to induce her, she refused. He told her to come back in a week. again he wanted to induce her, again she refused, saying that the baby would come when it was ready. She had her beautiful healthy baby girl on February 2nd. ( Her daughter is tall, and healthy, and now a successful model. My baby is measuring small, but to be on the safe side, I will get everything ready about two weeks before the FIRST due date. hope this helps. E-C-L

dvsrunt - 93 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I had a friend 2 weeks ago, give birth, she had the same issue of measuring 2 weeks ahead of her due date...unfortunately she had to have a scheduled C-section! Wishing you luck sweetie. (p.s. she had a 9lb baby, so she really was 2 weeks ahead!!)

captshelley - 93 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) Sometimes the baby moves into a position that makes your belly measure differently. My baby started shifting to the side of me which made me measure 2 cm bigger on one side.

Laura Ward - 93 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I measured 3 weeks larger with my first son throughout the entire pregnancy and he was born at 37 weeks. He was a pretty little guy, too....6lb 6 oz. When my water broke, I had a large amount of amniotic fluid that was to blame for the increased measurement. Good luck--you are almost there!!
