Amnio Fluid??

I was wondering if everyone or Has anyone, had this happen? I have went from 12cm, 11cm, 10cm, 9cm, then back to 13cm.. How is this possiable, for I am leaking a fluid that has no smell or anything, and I tend to leak a lot to a little? This has been going on for about 4 weeks, and I have pain off and on, anyone have any suggestions, I am on full bedrest, and It was not 100% amnio fluid via the test strip, it came out only light blue, not dark blue!! I know it is not urine for I can hold my tinkle when I am going for the cup, you know the test at the doctors? THanks to everyone!!

Hmmm...that's strange. I have heard of people dialating during labor and when they start to get worried actually start to have their numbers going backwardsl. Since it keeps changing like that I would have to wonder if there is a slight tear in your placenta?

The fluid is going to vary depending on how hydrated you are. The aminotic repleneshes every 3 hours or so. Just think of this, somedays you drink more water than you do on other days-You also could have a small tear that maybe closing and opening depending on how baby is positioned. Keep up with the bedrest and follow your dr's orders to the best of your ability.

It is possible you have a small tear somewhere, I am not that familiar with this.

that happend to me they eventually did another scan and said i had the slightest tear on my sac and it was healing back up but it went back down again so they did a sweep on me the best thing to do is drink plenty of water and rest, i was leaking watery discharge at first just a little then it was more frquent i would keep on to them about it in the end i had monitering every 2 days and scans every week

Maybe the baby is moving to different positions that makes you measure differently.
