ok so i was wondering at almost 20week how much weight should i have gain so far i have only gain 1 pound am i under weight

Brandi J. - 112 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It is different for everyone. I don't gain much if anything until a few weeks into my 2nd trimester, and then all of a sudden I make up for it! I will usually have a 7 lb gain month, followed by a 10 lb gain month, and then it will go back down to 4 lbs/mo. etc. It is different for everyone though. I think that if your doc. is not concerned and you are eating when you are hungry and eating healthy then you should not stress.

wildberry - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you should eat every time your hungry i had trouble gaining weight to so eat up hon when else can you have ice cream with breakfast(:

jah-baby - 115 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) umm yeah i think u should eat more..u should have gained atleast 10 pounds at 20 weeks

mommy-of-3 - 116 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) As long as you're eating when you're hungry I wouldn't be too concerned. I would ask your doctor what they feel would be a good weight gain for you at this point just to make sure.

ryanzbabi - 118 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You should be gaining atleast 2 pounds every month. I would check my doctor :)

MelissaJoanne - 120 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If you are underweight you should gain about 35 pounds during your pregnancy. The weight may all come later in your pregnancy though. Check with your doctor to make sure everything is well, and if so, don't worry about it.

magali - 120 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) everybody is different when i'm pregnant i tend to gain a lot of weight doesnt matter if i eat to little or too much you should gain more weight in the next 20 weeks but if your doctor isnt worried i woulnt be either good luck hun!! just try to eat healthy and dont worried about the weight too much!

CourtneyR26 - 120 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You should gain about 30 lbs total. Its ok that you only gained 1 lbs so far. You may gain it all in the end. Main thing is eat healthy and excersise.

Christina1984 - 120 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) im 20 wks and u r supposed to gain between 10 and 15 lbs. i have gained 13 and i started out under weight at 90 lbs. my 1st pregnancy by this point i had only gained about 5lbs and in total gained 17 lbs. guess im gonna be big this time lol. every1 says they can barely tell tho

tamaraleigh - 120 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Everyone is different. Your doctor will let you know if he suspects something.

2nd1ontheway - 120 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Everyone gains weight at different rates. No two pregnancies or people are the same. Unless your doctor is worried I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it.

pregnantegyptian - 120 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) between 10-16 pounds is what my doctor told me. I am 4 pounds over of what i am supposed to gain. But i guess that's all of delicious food i have been eating.

eastern-Canadian-Lady - 121 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am 19 weeks by US date, and 22 by dates. I have lost 31 lbs, then was told that I gained 1 last Friday, and today the ob/gyn told me that have lost another 2 since since Friday. The US all say the baby is showing small, but that could be bc of dates. (I had gotten off of meds in fall that could potentially have caused my ovulation to be late.) the ob/gyn said I should have gained somewhere between 10 and 14 lbs by now. He said that The baby seems fine though. the blood work is good, the us was good, and so was the urine. he wants to see me earlier than normal, but I think it was bc of cramping and spotting last week. I seriously would talk to the dr about it, but try not to worry. Everyone is different, so as long as you eat a little bit of everything things should be great. Hope this helps. Good luck, E-C-L

michaela - 121 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Unless your dr has concerns then don't worry , continue to eat a really healthy diet, enjoy your pregnancy and you will probably put on quite a few pounds in the third trimester. Enjoy being able to wear normal clothes and count your blessings that you wont have much to loose after the baby's born. All the best. xx

Carmione - 121 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Unless the dr is concerned about your weight gain or lack there of- I wouldn't worry. Everyone is going to gain a different amount of weight during pregnancy- nevermind what your metabolism was like prior to the preggers all that matters none now. Just as if your baby is gaining weight and getting all of the nourishment it needs it will be evident to your dr if you baby isn't. Don't worry too much. Try to enjoy your pregnancy as much as you can.

katznkt - 121 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had only gained 4 lbs at 30 weeks, but the doctor kept saying that the baby was growing great and not to worry. Since then I have gained 6 more pounds and am almost 33 weeks. I havent changed my eating style, it just depends on the baby and its growth spurts. Remember, the baby doesnt start to put on major pounds until about the third trimester when they plump up. You can ask your doctor if youre worried, but otherwise eat well and enjoy the fact that youll have less weight to lose after the baby is born!

allisonjoey - 121 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am 24 weeks and have gained 30 lbs.... Dr. Said she would rather I not be gaining that much but she is not worried about me. Everybody is different! as long as your doctor says your fine then don't worry!

septmommie - 121 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) We're all different, are you showing a bit? Has your doctor commented? Do you feel like your getting enough, the baby will let you know if you're not!

Laura Ward - 121 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) All women gain different amounts during their pregnancy. If your doctor is not concerned, you should be fine. Just continue to eat healthy, nourishing foods several times a day. During the last half of your pregnancy, your baby will be putting on weight...and likely, so will you!! Best wishes.
