I would stick to your prenatal vitamins, sometimes when we start taking other supplements the levels can become dangerous during pregnancy. I would ask your doctor to be certain.

I heard that also and asked my doctor. He said I could but it wasn't necessary. I would ask your doctor to be sure on what his take is.

I would say to not take any vitamins at all besides prenatal ones prescribed to you. Some that may be good for you, are actually harmful to you during pregnancy. Fish oil is very good for brain development, but the dosage in the Omega 3 pills may be too much at once for your growing baby to handle. I would say to ask your OBGYN for Vitofol OB with DHA prenatal vitamins. That is what I was on and they were great. This way, your baby is getting the fish oil supplement, but at a suitable rate. Hope this helps!!!

I am a big fan of omega 3/fish oils and so is my Dr. She gave me prenatal vitamins w/ DHA in it so I only have to take that now. :-)

If you and fish don't get along at the dinner table, the omega three tablets are a wonderful alternative to have available.

Omega 3 is really good for the baby's brain development. I hate fish oil too, it always comes back up, a helpful tip to prevent this from happening is to keep them in the freezer. By the time the Frozen capsule thaws it will have made it to you stomach:-)

Your prenatal vitamins have everything you should have in one pill. No need to take an extra supplement.

Yes, yes, yes! The omega 3 is a great supplement to help with fetal brain development. Also, because fish is restricted and limited during pregnancy, taking the imega 3 vitamins are perfect to get the added nutrition.

Yes, my doctor prescribed it to me. It's supposed to help with brain development and stuff, not only for baby but you too, helps with memory and all that jazz. I'm on it for the benefits for my joints - I have rheumatoid arthritis and have found it extremely helpful, particularly during pregnancy but also when i wasn't pregnant.

Absolutely. My doctor put me on the Duet DHA combo pack (which includes an Omega 3 pill) and I've been on it since 7 weeks. He uses it for all his patients.

YES, it's perfectly fine, and it's great for the baby, it's even better in the first 3mo when the neurological system is forming. but it's still good for later on. It makes for a smart baby. or so I've heard.

My prenatal vitamins contain Omega in them They are said to be very good for you as well as your babies developing brain. I think you should call your Doctors office and ask them to give you samples of a few and a prescription for them they do sell them at the health food store and in the regular Market but I would always advise you to ask the doctor first they may even tell you which ones to get over the counter. I know there are many.

there are some pronatal multi-vitamins that include omega 3 now, check in your local chemist or health food shop. Ask your pharmacist or dr. They are meant to be good for the babies brain development so it is definitely worth looking in to.
