I am 26wks and found out that i have a bivascular cord, and can`t find anything helpful on it, but dr. says its ok

Carmione - 226 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Your dr is right about the cord being alright. should the cord have any kind of deficiencies- they would have already presented themselves. It is just as effective as a 3 vessel cord for the majority of instances according to my pregnancy book. I wouldn't stress about it.

Brandi J. - 229 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I don't know what this is, I would ask my doc. tons of questions and find out as much as I possibly can!

LMO - 232 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i looked and couldnt find anything either i would just ask the doctor

mommy-of-3 - 234 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I cannot seem to find anything either, can you ask your doctor to explain it for you?

Darianna - 234 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) bi vascular Cord?? Let me ask.com it~~ http://www.ihop-net.org/UniPub/iHOP/gs/321345.html Is this a cord in the placenta or your heart? I am asking for I have a heart condition known as Sinus Tachycardia!! I am feeling worried and wondering!! I had a pregnancy with twin to twin transfusion, and Mono twins, and there was a similar problem with the cord, I lost my babies!! I will pray for you, for I have been there!!

Baby3OnWay - 234 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i tried to find more info for you but i couldn't... sorry hun. Ask your local hospital is they have any information! Godd Luck hun!

michaela - 235 days ago Rating: 5 (3 votes) Most umbilical cords have one vein and 2 arteries to carry blood and nutrients from you to baby and take baby'swaste away. A bivascular cord has only one vein and artery. This meansthat blood is still getting to baby and waste products are being taken away. This is still ok and your baby will be absolutely fine so don't stress about it.

holly28 - 235 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have never heard of this and haven't found anything on it either...are you sure you have the right name for it hun?

captshelley - 235 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Geez your right. I can't find anything on it either.
