I am spotting after having sex and a big orgasm. I didn`t do this with either of my other 2 pregnancies. Is this normal? I can`t remember what I have been told about this since it has never happened to me before. What do you think?

Brandi J. - 100 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Your cervix is probably just a little irritated, this is normal, but I still would call and get checked out, just to put your mind at ease.

mamahannah - 103 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I'm sure that you are fine. Your cervical tissue is just ultra sensitive. . . the same reason why you can spot after you have an internal exam.

LMO - 103 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) i would call the doctor just to be sure but you probably just irritated your cervix

JennSever - 104 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) i think you should be ok - but always err on the side of caution and consult your dr. my baby book said that bleeding after intercourse can occur

hhall - 104 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I spotted in month 9 from sex- ob/gyn said we must have irritaed the cervix but I would call just to make sure

jah-baby - 104 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) maybe u should see ur doctor ..most likely u will be on pelvic rest the rest of the pregnancy because of the bleeding

mommy-of-3 - 105 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) This is a tough one because it could be nothing or it could be something that needs to be looked at. If it is really light spotting I wouldn't worry but the best thing to do when in doubt is to call your doctor.

Darianna - 105 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Sex?? Ouch for me!! I suggest that you call your Ob, for your cervix could be or might have torn!! I know about that for my friends did and she needed to be in the hospital, to be watched the baby came to soon to be honest!! Good Luck!

Carmione - 105 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Sex? What's Sex?? Just kidding. A little bleeding, spotting after sex is normal. Our cervix are more sensitive and filled with more blood than prior to pregnancy. Irritation and a little light spotting is fairly common after sex, or even an internal exam. Unless the bleeding is bright red and accompanied by cramping I wouldn't give it another thought.

Baby3OnWay - 105 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) it could be that during sex you broke a few blood vesels. some woman get it bad some woman don't get it at all. You ar eok I am sure, if you get too worried you can always call you Dr thats what they are there for but I have hear of it happening to many. I am in week 16 with number 3 and I have read of it happening to a few waman this early as well. zbe gental when bumpin uglies HAHA Take care!

candace3 - 105 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) This is totally normal. Sometimes I spot after sex and sometimes I don't. Everything is way more sensitive down there and there is a huge increase of bloodflow, so that is why you may spot sometimes. I wouldn't worry about it. You can spot for up to 48 hrs afterwards.

ttasha - 105 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Well it happend to me when i was 4 months and i thought something was wrong with me but its only because i was sensitive down there so theres nothing to worry about

kayleighrobo - 105 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) hiya your more sensitive down there when your preggie exsplaining why you get more orgasms so when you have you can spot a little i dont think you've got anything to worry about just let your midwife or docter know because its always better to be safe than sorry, they'll probably take a swab of you stuff like that to see i its fresh blood etc x

michaela - 105 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Hi there, if it was only a little spotting that has now stopped then i would just let the dr know about it at your next appointment. If you are still loosing blood then i would be getting it checked out today. It could be nothing but it is always better to be safe than sorry. Has anyone mentioned placenta previa to you, if so ring your dr immediately. Hope this helps. All the best. xxx

holly28 - 106 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) That happened to me a few months back. We have some pretty vigorous sex after not seeing each other for a week and I started to spot. Of course, I freaked out. But the dr checked me out and said everything is fine and that its actually quite common. I wouldn't worry too much unless it continues for a while and/or is accompanied with cramping.

mommy-at-home - 106 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) During my last pregnancy I would spot (light pink) every time after having sex or an exam at the dotor's. I wouldn't worry as long as it is light. It should stop soon, though you may have some traces (gradually turning brown) of it for a few days. If you are worried call your doctor so you can be reassured.
