hi I was told fri. that I n`t be able to get pregnant again with my husband.He wanted a lil boy after he got home from Iraq and now I found out I can`t.Has anyone ever had this issue after having kids prior?We would appreciate the advise if pos.thnx,army wife

beckytrcek - 103 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) hi... sorry about your news, what did the doctor actually tell u! i was told a 15 the my left tube wasnt working and i had overian cysts on my right one, he said my chance of concieving without help were less than 10% im now the proud mother of 3 beautiful children and pregnant with my 4th, all concieved natural without really trying.. never give up hope and speak to a specialist, i had to have councelling at the age of 16 but luckly things worked out for me i hope they do for you and your husband.

JennSever - 103 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) did the dr give you the definitive reason why you can't have any more babies? i had a bad miscarriage and was convinced i was broken, but here i am 26wks and going strong. never take no for an answer unless you firmly believe it is so. have fun trying for one and in the meantime check out all your options. good luck and keep us posted

I have 2 from my previous relationship so we never tried then suprise feb 15 i found out i was pregnant i was in shock....my sister also 6 years after her last child at age 35 wanted another child and they were sent though a series of specialist after 6 months they took a break from trying to get pregnant and 2 months later she was pregnant naturally even with certain known medical problems anything is possible

I know my Aunt had a baby and then after 3 years she started to try for another one and they told her that it wasn't going to happen as her hubbys sperm count had depleted... low and behold she was pregnant within a year of thing and nearly instinly after she had that baby. michaela - 104 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Sorry to hear your news, I was told at 19 years of age that if i wanted kids i would need to have them within a year, at that stage i had only been with my boyfriend (now my hubby) 6 months and i was only half way through my degree. My hubby had also served in the first gulf war so when i told him what the drs said he actually took a sample of his sperm to the hospital to check his fertility as he had been given all those nasty injection before going out to the gulf. so anyway we decided to take a chance and wait untl we were ready and 10 years later we got pregnant after 3 months of trying. Never give up hope, the drs don't always get it right.

mommy-of-3 - 104 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You have no idea how many people I have either known personally or heard of through people I know that were told those famous words, "You won't be able to have children." My sister-in-law was told this after she had a miscarriage at 4 months along. Needless to say she went on to have two healthy full term boys. A friend of mine had endemetriosis (along with other health issues) and she was told the same thing, guess what? A little boy and a little girl full term no complications. I guess what I'm trying to say is at the end of the day doctors are only human just like us. There is no way for them to be 100% certain and if you have had a child prior to this your odds are even better that you will have another one at some point. It might not be right away, it took me 5 years to get pregnant with this one and he's baby#3. Just take care of yourself, take prenatal vitamins and try to keep your stress to a minimum, don't give up because there is always hope...

I was told that after two miscarriages and I already had a Daughter!! She came first then the babies, my twins were the last ones!! I got mad, I deiced to take matters in my own hands!! First I Started taking two Flintstones Vitamins a day! Then I got this book, Taking Charge of my Fertility! Then I upped my folic acid intake with foods!! I also used this site: http://www.fertiliyfriend.com and I bought a basal temp and a clear blue easy fertility monitor, one that is big and takes and holds the days in a computer!! That helped me, For here I am at 33 weeks along in my pregnancy!! SO pray and God Bless you are always welcome to call on me!!
