ive noticed my 11 week old son has got a small ball like lump in his neck is this anything to worry about or should i go to the doctors

brandi j. - 84 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Small lymph nodes in children's necks are fairly common due to children's high frequency of upper respiratory infections. If the lump is enlarging, tender, or if your son is getting lots of lumps, he should see his pediatrician. I would suggest you telling his pediatrician about it anyway, so that he/she can watch it!

Carmione - 86 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My son has something similar, and has since birth- his case is that it's just a lymphnode that is closer to the skins surface than the others- it was nothing to get twitterpated over- but I still asked. :)

LMO - 86 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my daughter has had one on her neck ever since she was born, the doctors told me that it has something to do with her allergies they also said that if it got to big then you would need to worry. but you might want to ask your doctor

mommy-of-3 - 86 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) That sounds like it could be a number of things, could be calcium build up I have one of these bumps on the back of my arm and that's what the doctor told me it was. I would ask your doctor to take a look at it just to be certain that it's nothing that would require attention.

Debra - 86 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) where on his neck. Message me. Colour, size, shape, location. Does it move when you touch it, or hard? Soft? It could be a lymph node swelling- if baby has a cold, otherwise you should see your doctor today.

micpetdog - 86 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) hi there my daughter had one on her neck a week ago and got 2 on her groin area (been there since birth) 4 in 2 weeks i was told it was a lymnth node (sorry dont know how to spell it) it has since gone from her neck if its still there in a week or so go to the doc
