How many weeks untill you can determine the babies sex?

amandapmills - 107 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my friend found out when she was 17 weeks.. and i didnt find out till i was 23 weeks.... i personally think the further along you are the better chance of them getting it right... the baby's been able to bake in the oven a little longer

brandi j. - 114 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Some u/s tech won't even look until after week 16 b/c it is very hard to see before that time. I had a friend who found out at week 15. I am expecting my 5th child and we haven't ever found out, but the u/s tech has always been able to see. W/ my 3rd child, she could see at 17 weeks what we were having w/out a problem. Congrats to you!

The hospital i attende had a no-tell policy as they had been sued a few times for telling the wrong sex!!!!! I enjoyed the suspense of not knowing, was a lovely reward after a hard labour. mommy-of-3 - 115 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The earliest they can actually tell is at 16 weeks. Some clinics do ultrasounds at this stage, others wait until around 18-20 weeks to do them. I guess it just depends on where you go and what they're preference is. It is also my experience that little boys are easier to tell early on, I swear I saw my son's penis when I had my 12 week ultrasound done this time around...
