I am 7 weeks and 1 day...I know I have read that you don`t start showing until 4 or 5 months along....but I am REALLY pooched out in my lower belly to the point I cant button my pants. Is this normal? I have a small frame...5 feet tall and 110lbs. Don`t know if that matter but maybe it does. Help!

Melanie07 - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I started showing really early with this last pregnancy. Everyone shows differently. If you want to make your regular pants last longer, use a very small rubber band looped through the button hole and hook it on the button.

amandapmills - 95 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yeah this is normal.... especially since you have a small figure...

brandi j. - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes, this is due to bloating and your body adjusting to being pregnant. I am expecting my 5th child and with all of them I have been 5 months before needing to switch to maternity clothes. But w/ everyone of them, I have thought, wow I am showing early, b/c I have the bloating in the beginning weeks, then my stomach returns to "normal", then all of a sudden, POP there it is! Just remember that there is no real "text book" pregnancy, we are all different! Some will say your carrying too big/small, high/low, but you will carry your baby according to your body type! Congrats to you! :o)

lulizzle - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Its def normal. Everyone's bodies are different. Maybe could be your a further along too? And I totally agree with mattie4 about just letting it all hang out loose when we find out! Great excuse to not have to have a flat firm model like belly all the time!

mattie4 - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i showed early on, but with my 4th pregnancy. With my first it wasnt until around my 5th month that i had a pooch. I would say that once we find out that we are preggers we will no longer hold our gut in but relax it, and well just that will help with the look of a bump...:). Also like the other ladies have said...bloating is a normal thing too. Congrats!!!

Baby3OnWay - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Constipation causes your belly to be big... not sure it that could be the case, also you are tiny as am I so that could be another reason, although for me it was more bloating and how much I was drinking. OR maybe your just having twins!!! haha either way enjoy your self and stay positive CONGRATS!!

asutori - 102 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I totally thought that I was showing early as well at first, but unfortunately it turned out to just be bloating :( I'm at 10.5 weeks now and my body actually went back to normal after all the bloating subsided. I can tell that my lower abdomen feels more stretched like there is a hard bubble in there, but no real bump yet. But I swear that in the earlier weeks, I was going to buy maternity pants because I felt so fat and my jeans felt like they shrunk 2 sizes!

prittigrl01 - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes this is normal. I started showing very early. I started showing at 8 weeks. You do get bloated and alot of gas and that also makes your belly pooch out. I was in maternity pants at 10 weeks. I couldn't button any of my pants anymore. I am really showing now I am 24 weeks and look like i'm in my 8th month! Some woman are different than others. I was very excited to start showing so early. Good luck!

christen - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) MOST WOMEN YOUR SIZE START SHOWING AT FOUR AND FIVE WEEKS...ITS NORMAL

LMO - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) that is normal women that have smaller bone structures tend to show alot faster than bigger women

michaela - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was showing early too, at 9 weeks everything I wore was really tight. I hada distincy belly by 12 weeks and I had no clothes left by 15 weeks. Check out my vip to see pics. Don't worry about it, everyone grows at different rates, be proud of your tummy. xx

jah-baby - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) OMG..its so funny cuz i was just looking in ur profile and saw ur pics and was like wow.thats big for 7 weeks.idk, maybe ur uterus is just growing a little faster becuz i must say that was a shock,,it lookes about 4 months.

caitlin h - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I felt like I pooched out right away too- everyone freaked out and said it must be twins- but for me it was just one baby. My OBGYN said that my uterus was angled tipping outwards, so that every little thing showed. Also could be bloating :), but lets say it is the cute little baby, shall we? I used a BellaBand, so that I could wear my pants undbuttoned

captshelley - 102 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I am 5'2 and weighed 114 when I got pregnant. I noticed a belly quickly but nobody else noticed my belly until about 6 months. I did the rubber band pants.

ML28 - 102 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) It's all bloat at this time. Depending on what you eat as well.

mommy-of-3 - 102 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I have heard that women with smaller frame and size tend to show sooner so I'm sure what you are saying is normal. You are probably also bloated which can cause a swollen tummy too, this is just one of those fun things that come along with pregancy.;)

JennSever - 102 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) totally normal..remember your body is retaining all the liquids and matter that would normally be flushed out of your system during your period. also, your body is readying itself for your placenta. and since you are so petite, you might notice all this much more. take heart - as you have more babies you will also show that much earlier!
