is it true that ascorbic acid or vit. c really whitens the complexion of your baby if you will take that everyday during your pregnancy?

Melanie07 - 90 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Never in my life have I heard that. I do know once the baby gets here certain foods can temporarily change their complexion. My daughter had and orange nose and tinge to her skin from the beta carotene in her food.

judied18 - 92 days ago well, i got it from my ob, guyz.

kayleighrobo - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) ive never heard of it! x

lulizzle - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I love the myths of pregnancy! It makes everything we do, feel, etc even more interesting!

mattie4 - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i have never heard of such a thing. I would be careful taking large amounts of anything unless approved by the dr. :)

wildberry - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) that is so funny! i can't help but wonder where some of our old wives tail tail from(: however taking to much vit c can cause miscarriage keep in mind that vit c is healthy but be sure to find out the appropriate amount the (chances of getting to much are very slim)

chiinapregwit6 - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) No that is not true. I do believe the only thing that can and will change the complexion of your baby is jondice.

brandi j. - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have never heard of this before. You can ask your doctor, he/she may be able to help you w/ your question.

klasnaya - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Actualy i dont know about in the uterus but if a baby gets too much vita c they can become red from it or even get a rash. Its a very important vitamin but you cant take too much of it either. Ask your doc

Mommyof2Boys - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I've never heard that before. I would ask the ob first before taking any other vitamins, I know you have to becareful with some stuff containing too much acid.

cloudie - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I've never heard of this and it sounds untrue and little silly.

michaela - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) vitamin c is ascorbic acid, i have never heard of it whitening skin complexion - i think genes are the decider there. do not take extra vit c other than what is in your prenatal multi vitamins as it can be toxic for you nevermind your baby.

LMO - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i have never heard of anything whitening your baby

mommy-of-3 - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Wow I can honestly say I've never heard of such a thing. Did you find this information online somewhere?
