Has anyone ever had their placenta in the front and if so when were you able to feel movement

Brandi J. - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have never had this, I have had partial placenta previa w/ 2 of my pregnancies that corrected itself both time, but I find this very interesting, b/c I have never read anything about it before.

DonnaG - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am pregnant with my third baby and I think it definatley makes a difference! Placenta has been at the back with first and third baby and was at the front with my second. It took me longer to feel her move when it was at the front!

JENNIFERSD - 100 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi, my placenta is in front (near the front of my belly). I didnt really feel movement until after 22 weeks. I started feeling more movement around 26 weeks, The Dr.s say this is common

LMO - 100 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You probably wont be able to feel any movement until you are further along.

mommy-of-3 - 100 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I didn't feel movement until 18.5 weeks and even then it was only noticeable once in a while not steady all of the time.

lizzie287 - 100 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My placenta is anterior as well. I started feeling flutters around week 17, but I haven't started feeling anything on the outside until this week, at week 26. It will be completely individual when you will start feeling it, but don't be discouraged - they will come ;)

debi - 100 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Mines at the front, this is my 4th baby so was expecting to feel early but felt baby properly at 19 wks. Just remember they have another barrier to kick through, baby kicks like mad now and i can see it too, im now 22wks.

Mommyof2Boys - 100 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You will still feel them but not as soon as a normal placenta laying in the back.

nich-vegas-mommy2be - 100 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Mine is in the front. I never had the 'butterflies' or 'bubbling' feelings. I felt the first movement at about 17 weeks, but only one small poke, then nothing for a while. Around 20 weeks I could feel a sensation like a nudging, or rolling. At my 20 week ultrasound I could see him kicking and squirming on the ultrasound but I didn't feel any of that. The doctor told me that the nudging/rolling feelings are probably him flipping over or switching positions. That is the only time I feel him move. I have not felt him from the outside yet.
