okay i got the fint line within the time alotted for the test and after the time ran out it got a bit darker not too much it`s supper faint but visible i know it`s early to test i went throught artificial insemination on friday morning so it`s only been about five almost six days so could the test really be right i`m just so anxious to know

kbushby - 101 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i took so many tests with this pregnancy, it gets expensive.. so i decided to wait till i was supposed to start my period. you should wait or your gonna make yourself go crazy taking them and not having a or sure answer.

minkymoo78 - 101 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Most pregnancy tests will not show a line at all if you are not pregnant. Do another one tomorrow and see how it comes out. They can't tell you you are pregnant if you're not. Good luck x

kayleighrobo - 101 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) even if the faintest line shows up its right i thought that maybe it was a broke one and ignored it 3 months later i noticed a bump took another test and it was a lot stronger take another one in a week and it will show up even more try taking it first thing in the morning x

Holly28 - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) A line is a line dear no matter how faint it is. Its incredibly rare to have a false positive. So, if I were you I would start celebrating. My first hpt was very faint as well. CONGRATS!

W/ my 3rd and 4th pregnancies I found out at 3 1/2 weeks that I was pregnant, recieving faint lines w/ both of those. My sister found out at 2 weeks w/ her son, her line was faint as well! Congrats!!!

mommy-of-3 - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If it's only been a few days then chances are much better for you that it is just a very early pregnancy. I would say wait another 5-7 days and retest, the line should be darker the next time you test, at least that's what my experience has been. Good luck, sounds like you might be expecting!

babigirl82 - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I found out exactly a week after i concieved so i am sure if you have the faint line then you are pregnant, With all three of my pregnancys my first test always had the real faint line and my husband never believed me but sure enough we are expecting number 3 in 10 weeks. I am sure if you wait a couple days it will be darker or if you really want to know go have your blood drawn. That is the only positive way when you are this early. Good luck and keep us updated.

Mommy2B10 - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had the faint line syndrome and my huband swore up and down that there was no line at all!!!I took another one two days later with my first morning pee and the line slowly( but surely) appeared...I agree with the others, wait a couple days and use your first morning urine. That sample will have a higher level of hcg than any other. GOOD LUCK!!!!

michaela - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I've never heard of false positives as the test is responding to HCG levels in your body. HCG is only present if you are pregnant. It is possible to get a false positive so i think it is safe to say that the artifical insemination worked. xxx

Baby3OnWay - 102 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have heard that theres false negatives b6ut never false positives. All at home pregnancy tests I have taken were very faint lines, could barley see it. I always called the Dr to make an appointment a week later and found out for sure that I was! CONGRATS and best wishes!!!!

With my first baby i was 2 days late for my period and i tested and it was so faint they told me to come back! But a line is a line no matter how faint. With this one it was a dark color 5 days before my period! Take another test in a few days.
