selenia - 1394 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i had preeclampsia and i swelled bad my legs and ankles and feet and my bp was very high a week before my son was due and i had spilled protein in my urine, they induced me and he didnt want to come out so i had a csection and a few weeks after the swelling went down

lindamc - 1395 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I didn't have preeclampsia, but I had very high blood pressure and had to be induced because of it. Just take it easy, and rest!!

LMO - 1399 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/preeclampsia/DS00583/DSECTION=8 go to that website and it will explain preclamsia, the only thing you can do is bed rest

Things can change so quickly as far as your health that they will monitor you closly. Try to watch the sodium and make sure your bag is packed! :) you are really close! Hope htis helps!

dueoct262008 - 1399 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) during my 2nd pregnancy i came down with it at 27 weeks and had to be induced. The symptoms i had were more along the lines of high blood pressure and retaining water and serious swelling my son was born at 27 weeks weighted 4.2 it was very scary time for me and my family and now that im pregnant again its a concern however even being born at 27 weeks my son is now 7 and other than at age 1 he had rsv we have never had any complications I was told that after age 4 they mite be some learning however we never encountered them as far as me after giving birth i was in the hospital longer i think 5-6 days thats just because i was on a mag drip and given potosen with in ten days all the symptions were gone im they were seriously concerned I dont think they would have sent you home my other girlfriend had it 6 months back and its something they act on pretty quickly also if you notice a major change in your swelling headache just get checked out the earlier its detected the better good luck!

brandi j. - 1399 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I have not had this, but know of women who have. Their doctors just watched them closely and all of them delivered healthy babies! Good luck to you and congrats on your pregnancy!

mommy-of-3 - 1399 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I was told I had traces of protein early on but they told me not to worry because it's kind of common for pregnant women to have small traces and that it's harmless. If they are telling you that you have too much then I would ask if there is anything you could do to prevent problems.

mattie4 - 1399 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) i was diagnosised with pre-e and my baby just had his 8th bday yesterday :) so yeah it turned out GREAT :) good luck it will be ok, just listen to the dr and do what is prescribed :)

michaela - 1399 days ago Rating: 5 (2 votes) I had both your symptoms, so i was checked every 1-2 weeks and i had no problems. Take it easy, get plenty of rest and keep well hydrated, also make sure you flex your legs and make circles with your ankles and wrists to encourage the circulation. Take care.
