Hi there, has anyone on here conceived straight after a miscarriage without having a period? I had a miscarriage on 27th March and we started to TTC as soon as I had stopped bleeding. I`m just wondering if it`s possible to get pregnant this month or not? It`s 3 weeks on Friday since my miscarriage, just wondering when I should expect my period or if I could be pregnant already? Any help would be great thanks

I would say it is very possible, and better yet, highly possible. It is VERY easy to conceive after being pregnant no matter how far along you were, or how the pregnancy ended. Sorry to hear abour your MC and Goodluck!

I've had my 5th lost in March 2007, and then found out I was prego again in June of that same year, I have a healthy baby boy now after all that.

hi it didnt happen to me but it did happen to a freind so yes you can get preg that month any month for me it took 6 mnths but were all different, id wait before getting to excited about being preg again they told me to wait 3 mnths but then i believe that yoiur body wouldnt allow you to concieve if it wasnt ready test in about 2 wks if no period arrives...best of luck jo xox

No but I got pregnant 3 months after having a miscarriage. They told me to wait for at least 2 periods because your body needs time to heal. Hope all goes well for you & congrats.

I'm so sorry that you had a miscarriage. I have always heard that you are very fertile after having a miscarriage! Best of luck to you and God Bless!

I have read of some women on this site doing exactly that. They got pregnant right after without ever getting AF. So it is possible! Does create a problem for dating because you won't know when you conceived but....

i had a miscarriage last year. my doctor advised me to wait until i had 2 normal cycles before trying again. so i did. and got pregnant right after that 2nd normal cycle. give yourself some time. and make sure your body is back on track. good luck :)

My sister-in-law conceived the month after she miscarried (naturally - no d&c) and went on to have a healthy pregnancy and baby boy! All the best : )
