i just lost my mucos plugg?! (i think) i am 38 weeks and 3 days. sorry for tmi but it was slimy yellow and a tint of brown does this sound like the mucos plug and if so how much longer do i have? thank you

mzmommy2b - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Very well could be! Either way, it is a sign that labor is near, but nothing for sure. After you loose your plug, labor can be 1 minute - 3 weeks away. Good luck!

cjmc2577 - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes thats what it sounds like. it can still take a while or happen real fast everyone is different. good luck!!

totallykatalicious - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yep sounds like your mucus plug, and you can go anytime, I was losing mine from like 36 weeks or so, I can't really remember, but I was scheduled to be induced on Feb 8, 2008, and like a week or two before that I was dilated at 2 cm, thought I was gonna go anytime, and my baby boy held out until the day of the induction lol. So it all depends, but good luck!

christen - 98 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) sounds like your mucus plug...i have heard that people can loose theirs and go 2 weeks some go a couple days...so just be prepared

kayla-love - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It does sound like your mucus plug. It could be anyday now or sometimes you can lose your mucus plug and nothing will happen for 2 weeks or so. All women are different, but when I lost mine my labour started the next day.

LMO - 98 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you dont have that much longer...good luck

iamdesiree - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My water broke about 30 min. after losing my plug. I was actually on the internet googling it when my water broke. You should go soon. I was also 38 weeks.

araya-sunshine - 99 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) YES! Old blood is often a brown color. You will have the baby in the next 3 days I bet!

captshelley - 99 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) tonight girl!

elle.O.vee.e - 99 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) yes, it does. loosing your plug doesnt actually determine a time frame, it means your cervix dilated enough for the plug to dislodge wait till your next internal

michaela - 99 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Sound slike you have lost your plug, any day now!!! Good luck.

brandi j. - 99 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) It does sound like it, but it is hard to say when you will deliver, b/c everyone is different. Some women lose it and go into labor in just a few hours, and some lose it weeks before anything happens! Either way, it won't be long until you meet your precious baby! Congrats to you!

jojor - 99 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) yep id say thats it your on your way, i lost a few bits of mucus but the one like you described was the final when i knew this is it good luck dont forget about posting pics...

jessicadarling - 99 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) That definitely sounds like your mucous plug. I lost a part of mine at 34 weeks but I lost the last part of it a day before I went into labour. Two other people I know lost theirs a day before going in to labour as well. I have heard it can take up to a week but my suggestion to you is too try the other at home induction techniques because it sounds like your cervix is getting ready. Walk lots, have sex and all that good stuff. Shouldn't be long now.

Christina1984 - 99 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) sounds like it to me.it usually has a brownish discharge as far as i know.if ur 38 weeks than i dont see what else it could be

mommy-of-3 - 99 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Yep that sounds like your mucus plug. I lost mine the last time about 2 weeks before I delivered, everyone is different. The time is getting close though! :)

mattie4 - 99 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) sounds like it to me. It really depends on how ready your cervix is, but it is a start. With me, the one time i wasnt induced and had the luxury of loosing my plug first and then going into labor, well right after i lost my plug (which was after i was already told i was 3 cm already) my water began leaking and i had my son 5 hours later. With that said though, each person is different. It may take weeks, it may take days, or it may take hours. Good luck but yes it is a step forward in the direction of your baby being here soon. :)

wildberry - 99 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) it sounds like your plug when you go into labor really depends on your bode but most things say labor will start in 24hours to five days the first time i was preggers i lost mine a week before and this time i lost it at 28weeks and went till weeks good luck hon

ttasha - 99 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) yea that sounds like your mucus plug wel lto be honest all it means reali is that your body is preparing itself for labour because i lost mine when i was 35 or 36 weeks and i didnt give birth until 12 days after my due date
